Hey Jake, my dad got his car broke into a few days ago when he was at work. And guess what, he works in TACOMA!

i am the robots 11-14-2007 05:50 PM

Busch Ice is really cheap American beer... I used to drink it a lot in 10th grade.

superpeer 11-14-2007 05:51 PM

Sounds delicious.

AA-12 11-14-2007 05:53 PM

Beer talk : D

Permanent Solution 11-14-2007 05:54 PM

The only beer I like thus far is hefeweizen

Tyler 11-14-2007 05:54 PM

I like beer that's not American or Mexican. They tend to be not good.

i am the robots 11-14-2007 05:57 PM

There's good American beers though. Yuengling, and Victory for example.

Eliminator 11-14-2007 05:57 PM

foreign beer looks like it tastes good

oh food network. how you tug at my fat heart

Riva 11-14-2007 05:57 PM

American beer is like having sex in a canoe. It's fucking close to water.

Tyler 11-14-2007 05:58 PM
There's good American beers though. Yuengling, and Victory for example.
Yeah but it's not exactly easy getting microbrewery american beer in Canada and I'm not about to import it.
There's good American beers though. Yuengling, and Victory for example.
Yuengling and High Life are the only american beers I drink.

edit: if High Life is even american which I think it is

i am the robots 11-14-2007 05:58 PM

Yuengling isn't a microbrewery. But there Brewery is in Easton, which is real close to where I live.

High Life is disgusting.

gmoneyguy 11-14-2007 05:59 PM

Sammy Adams is wunderbar.

Abita Springs also

Corona is not beer to be quite honest.

Its very cheap and isn't disgusting so when we're too cheap to buy Yuengling we opt for that.

Tyler 11-14-2007 06:00 PM

Well shut up then.

I usually end up drinking Amsterdam Blond, even though it the best. The bar I frequent has it dirt cheap.

gmoneyguy 11-14-2007 06:00 PM

Dos equis is alright imo.

Iluvatar 11-14-2007 06:02 PM

Id rather buy a bottle of cheap vodka than any beer tbh.

edit: excpet maybe Guinness

Tyler 11-14-2007 06:03 PM
Id rather buy a bottle of cheap vodka than any beer tbh.
I had a bad experience with Vodka a few months back and now just the thought of it (including typing this) makes me a little sick.
edit: excpet maybe Guinness
Dark Beer rules.

Iluvatar 11-14-2007 06:07 PM

If I had my pick cheap tequila would be it but its like 20 bucks for a handle down here.

I normally drink Olde English, and Steel Reserve on special occasions. :p

Riva 11-14-2007 06:12 PM

Shit. I was shaving in a hurry, since I have to get to Uni early, and I cut my upper lip going against the grain. Luckily my well-developed ability to suck and breathe at the same time came into play, but I swear I've got more blood in my mouth than should be coming out of a small cut. It's pretty metal though, my teeth are stained red.
At games or something? That could be fun.
I dont know about over there, but in groceries stores over here, certain companies send their people from store to store to fill up their products. Soda and beer companies tend to do this. I would do it for a beer company.

Riva 11-14-2007 06:20 PM

Ah, yep. Chip and soft drink companies do that here. We call them reps, not vendors.

Also: It's illegal to sell alcohol from supermarkets in my state.

Tyler 11-14-2007 06:21 PM
Also: It's illegal to sell alcohol from supermarkets in my state.
Same here. They're thinking of allowing domestic beers to be sold in convenience stores but nothing so far.

Same in PA, but they're reforming that soon. :)

ATM 11-14-2007 06:29 PM

I love beer.

But yea, American beers suck for the most part. Unless you get something that is from a smaller brewery, usually. It actually tastes like beer.

Or Old E.

My roommate had never had an Old E before so I bought 6 of them the other night. He passed out as soon as he finished it hahah

Tyler 11-14-2007 06:29 PM

Old E? Olde English? Nu?

superpeer 11-14-2007 06:29 PM
Also: It's illegal to sell alcohol from supermarkets in my state.
Really? Our supermarkets usually have a vast collection of beer, wine and spirits. It's also really cheap. =D

Apocalypticon 11-14-2007 06:30 PM

anyone have any ideas on how to get a jammed disc out of my cd drive?

TojesDolan 11-14-2007 06:31 PM

idk about dos equis >->

ATM 11-14-2007 06:32 PM
Old E? Olde English? Nu?
That's the one.

Cocktails

Olde English is the base for numerous cocktails such as Russian Hobo, Blood Juice, Black Eight, and Lickasic. Typically, in each case one third of the 40oz is consumed and then additional liquors, beers, or fruit juices are added.

Weird. Wiki is so educational.

gmoneyguy 11-14-2007 06:32 PM

Never mind.

superpeer 11-14-2007 06:34 PM
anyone have any ideas on how to get a jammed disc out of my cd drive?
Can you still open the drive or not?

Tyler 11-14-2007 06:35 PM

There's a little hole under every CD drive, just small enough to fit a pin in. Do that.

Apocalypticon 11-14-2007 06:37 PM

My computer has one of those completely ridiculous drives where there is just a slot in the front where you stick the cd. No drawer or anything. Just an eject button. Whenever I push the eject button in makes whirring noise that sounds like the cd spin, then it boops and bops abit, then makes a really screahy noise  and then just does nothing.

Silenius 11-14-2007 06:38 PM

Do you have a Mac? My friends MacBook Pro has a disc drive like that but hes never had problems with it.

superpeer 11-14-2007 06:40 PM

Mine does that sometimes. Have you tried resetting or shutting off your computer and trying again?

magicbus 11-14-2007 06:40 PM

Sup cats. How's everybody?

Apocalypticon 11-14-2007 06:40 PM

Nope.

@Cocaine: I see no hole on the outside. I haven't taken the front plate off and taken a look though, so there might be one under there.

@Jelle: Yep I shut off and restarted computer twice. Same thing. Its been like this for almost 3 hours now.
