They are arguably the most popular pop-punk bands of the last decade. I think both bands deserve official threads.

Now I'm off to watch a few hours of wrestling I've downloaded

yeah the b182 and greenday threads need to stay, i dont think it really matters what other users in the site think of those bands, the blink thread is a really good thread for pp, and like kif said, most popular.

All I'm saying is there needs to be more official threads than just that. I mean, it's okay for the R&M to have tons of official threads, and the Punk forum can, but we only have ones for the mainstream. What about NOFX? The Bouncing Souls? Less Than Jake? Flogging Molly?

You can say to me "Oh they'll just die out and noone will post in them" but is it really going to hurt these forums any more by trying to spread around some knowledge of other bands OUTSIDE of the Featured Artists? I don't think it would hurt to at least try.

I love blink-182 and Green Day actually, but not all attention needs to be drawn to them.

I'm gonna go eat now. Just think on it a bit.

Chad is just a sole hacker. That's what he does. He probably doesn't play an instrument or have a vast music knowledge like most of us.

Plexi is an ex-mod/hacker.

But can't we have a few more threads dedicated to LTJ or NOFX or something? These forums are pretty much dead a lot of the time and I don't think having a few more band threads would kill it.

Exactly. New threads will help, but, generally, they won't last more than a week or two. That's the way things work around here. Unfortunately.

So I was flipping throughthe channels, and a spanish soccer game was on, and some guy from spain in the crowd had a confederate flag. Confederate as in, a flag from the wouthern united states in the US civil war. It was mind boggling.

I bought some blank discs today and brought them home to realize I had the wrong ones. I was pissed.
