i just dreamt i was at a CoB concert and caught a pick from alexi laiho. afterwards we were standing outside near the bus and alexi gave signs, showed licks and allowed us even to play on his guitars :D i got the setlist and a list of all settings of his guitars (don't ask me what it was... it was a strange list :lol: )

I found some way to cram about 5-6 hours of guitar in yesterday. I spent the last 45 minutes playing that Universal Mind intro. I can't believe i started this :lol:


I had it pretty flawless at 115. I didnt want to over clock myself. We'll see what goes on tonight

Bed Of Razors? How hard is that song? I tried a while back but the finger positioning was a bitch.

It's pretty easy. The only hard parts are the sweeps and that intro riff thing. And with the intro/main riff it's really just the timing that's hard. The solo is one of Alexi's easier solo's. overall it's pretty easy. I've forgot some of the sweeps...so I'm gonna go back and learn those before I record

Yeah, I remember spending a couple days on it and then quitting because it was quite boring to play. I may pick it up again sometime though, just to add another song to my repertoire.

Actually man, I checked the live vid and the last bar has different positionings.
The tab had the C note on the B string, 13th fret, John plays it on the G string, 17th fret. I uploaded the video around there too if you wanna check it out.
