Thanks :) Now I need to find out why some parts distort, mainly the outro.

Thor 04-23-2006 05:08 PM

Are you going to be doing any other Opeth songs in the future?

Kaiwaz 04-23-2006 05:57 PM

Okay. Here's my finished version of Epilogue. Enjoy!

I saw Opeth last night in melbourne and it was amazing, they sound exactly the same live as on the album. I'm actually considering seeing them again tonight, they're playing 2 shows.

gmoneyguy 04-23-2006 06:45 PM

I would.

Det_Nosnip 04-23-2006 08:57 PM

Hell yeah.

Vaper 04-23-2006 09:03 PM
Did they play geuss the guitar riff before they played Deliverance?
Sweet man, that sounds pretty good.

Vaper your avatar is great.

Jude 04-23-2006 09:39 PM

That was a pretty sweet version. :thumb: Although I don't like your guitar tone too much.

The first line was reffering to the first underlined sentence.. and the second bold line was reffering to the second bold sentence

Crysiss 04-24-2006 04:45 PM

I like the Mikael sings that part alot:)

Thor 04-24-2006 04:59 PM

HORRRRAYYYYY!!!! My Opeth DVD just came!!!!!!!

...and it's just as I'd expected. Fantastic.

Crysiss 04-24-2006 05:01 PM

Lamentations is awesome. Look for when Mikael is trying to look all emotional singing with his eyes closed and he keeps peeking at the fretboard lol.

Thor 04-24-2006 05:03 PM

I noticed that a few times and chuckled a bit. While they don't really move around a whole lot, they make up for it with their musical greatness.

The Leper Affinity live is an orgasm-fest.
...and Mendez's headbanging is great!

Crysiss 04-24-2006 05:17 PM

He gets teased for his horizontal headbang:lol: Its not on the DVD though, Watch the documentary as well:thumb:

Crysiss 04-24-2006 05:57 PM

Alright guys, this version of Ending Credits took about an hour to put together thanks to Dunkelheit for drums. :)

You skipped a measure in the beginning. Instead of coming in with the lead at the beginning of a phrase you came in right after the B7 chord.

Then in the lead part, in the pickup to the third measure of the phrase you play an F# instead of a D. Still sounds fine, just different.

Other than that it was good. A little sloppy overall, but I can understand that from throwing it together in an hour.

I nitpick

A most excellent job. :thumb:

I watched about half of the documentary. Watching Lopez was a total treat.

...and "A Fair Judgement" live is absolutely mind-blowing.

It's the way the drums fade in, I did my own thing.

RustedPieces 04-24-2006 07:52 PM

Sounds pretty good.
