I'm gonna give the full story for Brian.

Chad (Light Fantastic) hacked Strum's, one of the Pit Mods, account and changed a bunch of thread titles to "hi" in the Pit, Poltics and World Issues, and Rock & Metal forums. The account was banned, but Chad continued to make multiple accounts. Jeremy got pretty mad and threatened to completely get rid of the Pit if things didn't shape up. Everyone continued to act out though, urging on Chad to do even more damage. The server was shut down for a few minutes, then cut back on, and all havoc broke loose. Jeremy moved the Pit down to almost the very bottom of the forums, and issues went on about that. Then Chad did the unthinkable and hacked Jeremy's account. The forums were then shut off for the rest of the night.

Now the Pit has been renamed General Discussion and the rep system is now being worked on to hopefully convince people to post better and contribute more than just spam and hacking to the forums.

Also I think Brian's just gonna keep that same avatar to piss us all off. :p

I really do hope the Pit closes or goes back to the old Nazi ruling when even the slightest mistake meant a ban, as well as everyone else in a crappy thread. It's gotten worse and worse, and everyone just embraces it and eggs trolls on. It's past the point of ridiculous.

Im on some retard forum, looking at some thread I made a long time ago trying to explain what emo is (they think its bands like bayside). Some kid tried telling me old emo sucked, and it kept getting better, then aiden ruined it. I then made fun of him for liking bullet for my valentine and how he thought aiden was emo, after i just made a very educational and polite thread trying to explain to them the fine, fine genre.

People are stupid. They'll never know what emo is, especially with MTV pushing bands like Silverstein as emo.

People will continue to like crappy music as long as MTV is around.

I honestly think its because when people hear the word pop-punk, they think of blink 182, and they dont equate that with the bands they listen to. Then they heard the term emo, and started being idiots and calling everything in sight* emo because they thought they were cool and 'underground' by listening to a genre nobody else hasheard of. Then it all got out of control.

*This reminds me of anchorman....."I love lamp".
