It's the one where he fights with his parents and runs away and gets all scared of the ice sculptures.
Pingu was hilarious, it used to shit everywhere.
That was Pinga, his little sister.

Dammit, I should have known!

Deth 11-03-2005 08:29 PM

Ash, you have converted a Blaze fan. Man, some of those songs are incredible!

NP: Stare At The Sun

Deth 11-03-2005 09:22 PM

Somebody here should really defend Maiden in the Defend a Band thread.

YDload 11-03-2005 09:39 PM

Maiden defended themselves from an army of Sharon Osbournes egg-throwers, I think they can hold up against just about anything :)

Deth 11-03-2005 09:40 PM

Well, unless Nicko's going to show up and write for them, they will be unrepresentated in the competition.

Lord Abortion 11-04-2005 03:29 AM

I got to 96% of the first 10 years and the bastard froze...not happy.

it froze on me twice last night, i'm trying again now. the latest PM mailing list download (Nightwish - Wishmaster) is going really slowly (3.38kbs!!!), but that's on megaupload.

Lord Abortion 11-04-2005 05:24 AM

I already have nearly all the PM albums uploaded, helloween next week though.

yeh, that will be awesome. anyway, how's school today Ollie? i would be in but i'm in severe pain from ears / throat.

NP: Blind Guardian - A Past and Future Secret.

-The Frank 11-04-2005 05:49 AM

dam, i love blazes bassists tone on sign of the cross, i need to get his tone...

-The Frank 11-04-2005 05:58 AM

ash (or to anyone else who may have this), do you have blazes version of ATSS?

Josh 11-04-2005 05:59 AM

it is a great tone. not as great as Steve's was at Leeds though :p
Ash's latest file (first 10 years, 1,2,3) just finished downloading :)

-the Frank, please learn to use the edit button :p

-The Frank 11-04-2005 06:04 AM

Steves tone seems to be too clacky for me.

Josh 11-04-2005 06:07 AM

i like it, makes it clearer. it's also partly because he plucks the strings so hard that they slap against the frets.

-The Frank 11-04-2005 06:13 AM

meh, have you ever tried one of steve harris's sigs?

Josh 11-04-2005 06:14 AM

nope, what are they like to play with?

-The Frank 11-04-2005 06:16 AM

haha i havent played one either, i saw one on ebay a month ago and got really excited. They look really nice......... dont know how much they would go for now though

Josh 11-04-2005 06:21 AM

probably quite a lot. i have decided i may just buy myself a cheap encore that comes with an amp etc, they're not really that bad, just cheap. £150, with everything. and i only have to go to Argos to get it :p

NP: the live version of drifter, from the first 10 years part with running free on it. the "yo yo yo" bit is so cool.

-The Frank 11-04-2005 06:23 AM

you getting a P-bass or a Jazz bass?

Drifters = :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Josh 11-04-2005 06:26 AM

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5407237.htm
that one, whatever it is :p
i did have my mates squier p-bass, that wasn't bad.

Ash - you could possibly make the first 10 years files smaller if you ripped them to a smaller bitrate, they're all at 320 kbs!

-The Frank 11-04-2005 06:29 AM

the bass look nice.

my first bass was a squier precision. It really wasnt that bad, i had it for like two years till it finnaly fell apart and i needed to buy one. But yah, once youve played something better then a squier, you can never go back......

Josh 11-04-2005 06:43 AM

personally i'm not a huge fan of the sun-burst colouring of it, but meh, it's how it sounds that really matters.
NP: Phantom of the Opera (live)

-The Frank 11-04-2005 06:54 AM

i love the sunburst color..........

wow, i am really gettin into silicon messiah and kill and destroy. Blaze pwns, thanks again ash!
