Oh, who's using drugs?

br3ad_man 07-11-2005 04:15 AM

You know. People.

I'm really apprehensive about WOTW. I've loved both the book and the musical for years, and I really don't like Tom Cruise.

Bartender 07-11-2005 06:55 AM

Cain has been saying it's amazing. But then he's comparing it favourably to 28 Days Later, so maybe I should take his opinion with a grain of salt.

I almost went to see it yesterday, actually. Ended up seeing Batman Begins because it started ten minutes earlier than WotW, and we were both impatient.

Happymeal 07-11-2005 07:46 AM

^BB took me by surprise. I liked it more than WotW.

I spoke to my ex back home last night, when I thought we were having a fairly good conversation I asked her if she had a new boy she said yes. She told me to guess who it is, I said it was her neighbor and she then got frustrated and interrogated me why I know this. w0w

I started my Work Experience today, working in a 'local' hardware shop. It's pretty small, someone's family business, and as a result, it's pretty laid back and stuff. I was supposed to work from 9 till 4, but they let me go at 2 :D

But I did get there half an hour early, and only take 30 min lunch break as opposed to 1 hour, so I guess I only really got 1 hour of. That's still cool tho :)

Well_Respected_Man 07-11-2005 10:26 AM

^^^Thats sounds like a nice time

On, Friday I'm getting my wisdom teeth pulled, I Will become disoriented nap man for the weekend with an IV in my face.

Little Man being Erased 07-11-2005 04:13 PM

Wow, quiet times in here for a while, eh?

Good morning all. I'm slightly hungover at work again.

The Ashtray Girl 07-11-2005 04:16 PM

So yo, I may have just had one of the best nights of my life at Sigur Rós last night.

Luxor 07-11-2005 04:19 PM

That polar bear has a very wide face.

Happymeal 07-11-2005 04:21 PM

Indeed.

Tangy zizzle 07-11-2005 05:45 PM

Batman Begins is the best film I've seen all year. That's gotta say something as I watched The Goonies and Crash just yesterday.

Speaking of Crash, how good is this film? SO good.

Dog 07-11-2005 05:48 PM

Batman Begins was pretty dang good. The only thing I didn't like was the voice he used when he put on the costume, but that's not really a huge complaint. Probably the best film I've seen this year, too.
Batman Begins was THE SHIT.
Yeah this too.

Little Man being Erased 07-11-2005 05:50 PM

Batman Begins was THE SHIT.

Robert Crumb 07-11-2005 06:02 PM

Batman Begins was good clean action fun. Best action movie I've seen in a while.

I walked into Crash expecting to be underwhelmed but I liked it. The only problem is, whenever I see Brendon Fraser in a movie, I wanna punch him in the face.

Tangy zizzle 07-11-2005 06:10 PM

Yeah Brendan Fraser is a bittuva dork.

Glitterati 07-11-2005 06:10 PM

Same here. And Batman Begins ruled.

So I got back from the hospital today. Turns out I have a full case of Asperger's Syndrome. I'll need to start taking all sorts of meds.

Little Man being Erased 07-11-2005 06:15 PM

What does Asperger's Syndrome involve?

Tangy zizzle 07-11-2005 06:19 PM

Autism.

Glitterati 07-11-2005 06:20 PM

It's on the looooooooow end of the autism scale. If I was on the high end, I couldn't walk, talk, etc.

Tangy zizzle 07-11-2005 06:23 PM

Is you spastic?

Glitterati 07-11-2005 06:25 PM

Nope. It's quite a bit like ADD, actually. I can't concentrate for too long, have trouble thinking sometimes. Stuff like that.

Tangy zizzle 07-11-2005 06:26 PM

Spazzy mcgee.

Anyone else think that the dude from DFA1979 sounds quite similar to Jeff Buckley when he starts to wail...

Tangy zizzle 07-11-2005 06:27 PM

Sorry, I am kidding (aren't I always? man settle down) it's not a jocular topic at all.

I apologise, but it may happen again.

Dog 07-11-2005 06:28 PM

You got my panties in a bundle with that statement.

Edit: Oh my God. Worst 1000th post ever
