So, I was out taking specs of apartment units, and I went into one apartment that had the dead roaches all over the floor. It was beautiful.

Here's a rough draft of a conversation I'm sticking in a screenplay inspired by a very real conversation with my brother Nick. The very first sentence in this scene contains the exact words that inspired this whole thing.

More than likely, I'm going to break this up into a series of short conversations as a motif throughout the movie. Countless rewrites will ensue.

So yeah, that line doesn't really work as is, but I somehow doubt that exact wording will make it into the finished product.
