Oh, I'm fine, thanks for asking, Animosity. How are you?
Yeh pretty good

teaching drums sucked a*s today though, cuz I have this one kid who seriously is in his own little world. When you ask him to do something he just stares at you with his mouth opened and gets up and walks around the room

Eitri Is Berserk 02-03-2005 09:33 PM
Yes, but I like money. I've been getting 15 bucks an hour for teaching a 4th grader to play guitar though. :)
That sounds like a waste of time to me. Like me trying to teach my sister.. anything about music. Complete waste of time on my part. I can hardly get her to grasp the differences between bass and guitar.

Well how much are you getting payed to do it?

Kingofdudes 02-03-2005 09:35 PM
Stocking suck?
I wasnt even supposed to work today. They stuck me on frozen food, and gave me a 2 piler load of food to stock. My hands are frozen, and I never got my lunch break

I wont be getting much money since they cut me down to 10 fucking hours this week. x 5643635
Well how much are you getting payed to do it?
I get about 12.00 a lesson (which runs for 30 minutes)

And my brother who is the main drum teacher of the place and part owner (yeh he gave me the job, but I'm still good at teaching it) gets about twice that.

No, this kid rules though. He's really cool, and like a trillion times smarter and better than guitar than I was in 4th grade. I didn't know **** about guitar or music in 4th grade. He pays attention too.

Huber 02-03-2005 10:14 PM

A drum stick just broke in half, and the upper half broke off and hit me square in the face. Now I have a nose bleed.

Note to everyone: When your stick breaks, duck.

RavenousMetalist87 02-03-2005 10:54 PM

I see rock not roll is still alive...considering he had a second username as a backup for a while.

How's it going, rnr?

i just realized you were talking to rock not roll. there's an amazing radio station down here called rnr. you hear everything. the dj doesn't have a playlist. he/she goes over to the records/cds and just gets a handful of them and picks a song. they usually play the deep tracks, so like you wont hear "stairway to heaven" or "she loves you" but you'll here everything from buddy holly to metallica to goo goo dolls. it's awesome

Freezing Moon 02-03-2005 11:38 PM

Man, I wish we had a decent radio station. I listen to CD's much more often, but it would be awesome to be able to turn on the radio and have a good song playing. It just doesn't happen to me anymore. It's all modern rock/nu metal, and rap/hip-hop.

Permanent Solution 02-04-2005 12:05 AM

I listen to my iPod/computer, never radio, rarely CDs :-/

ArcLite 02-04-2005 12:07 AM

MP3's on comp when I'm in my room, CD's in the car, and never radio. Radio, as already stated, is pretty much worthless these days, unless you can find a good classic rock station. Nothing meets standards at all in the metal dept.

Permanent Solution 02-04-2005 12:10 AM

I use CDs in my car, but I only have a car when I'm home, so, meh.

ArcLite 02-04-2005 12:46 AM

Made a trip to Best Buy today and bought myself Spinaltap, what fantastic humor. Also picked up Megadeth - Cryptic Writings, the last one I wanted of theirs. I spend too much money.

ArcLite 02-04-2005 05:17 AM

Gotta respect the man, who mid-day Friday, is already pumping the sauce through his veins.

dUSK 02-04-2005 05:20 AM

Riva 02-04-2005 05:20 AM

Mid day Friday? More like 9.20pm Friday night and I just finished another GRUELLING day at work. :(

ArcLite 02-04-2005 05:21 AM

You work at a grociery store, correct?

You should also yell "Dang nabbit" ah-la Grandpa Simpson style.

Riva 02-04-2005 05:34 AM

Yes, Chris, I do work in Hell.

And Greg, I prefer Darn Swaggit.

ArcLite 02-04-2005 05:36 AM

Heh, I used to work in hell too. Started out bagging, then cashiering, then stocking, then dairy, and finished in produce. Pretty much saw every bit of hell. What is your hellacious specialty?
