God so I feel like ****.

Basically I'm in a group project with this one other guy in one of my classes. He's pretty much agreed to do nothing, and without saying anything, I guess it was understood between us that because I was the more outgoing one, I should set up the interview with this guy we're supposed to interview.

I tried calling there once today but I was put on hold and my cell died, and didn't bother calling back. I'm just weird when calling people, especially if I have to call back again.

So anyway, the interview report is due tomorrow, and I have nothing. The teacher is pretty lenient and could probably let us report on Monday.

The thing is, I don't even want to go to class, because its pretty much going to be about us reporting on our itnerviews, and I don't have anything. It doesn't matter if I go or not because we would still not have the interview done. Its also an 8 AM class.

Problem is, my dad is home. Now I can just tell him I don't have class (it was cancelled last wednesday, so its an easy sell), or I can say I do have class and go to Guitar Center (if its open at 8) and buy some drumheads I've been meaning to get.

Regardless, my biggest fear is my partner getting off his lazy *** and calling me. I wouldn't even know what to say!

i'm giving some thought to doing an acoustic set at the concert we're putting on, but i'm not too proud of my voice and it's like 3 weeks away.

i'm trying to record myself singing but it's after midnight and everyone's asleep so i'm holding back and like sing-talking. i'll wait until tomorrow when the house is empty and see how my voice really is.

yeah but it's just got weak home-recorded stuff without me on it right now.

we went to record a 3-song ep, but the guy's taking a while to finish up with it, and now we're going to go record a 4th song. once we get that done we'll post them.

Why does someone have to advertise the fact that they're "straight edge". I mean, my roommate doesn't drink, and it's not like he has to tell every he knows about his own personal preference. Also, who the hell came up with the abbreviation "sXe"? It just seems so middle school, and makes very little sense. Sure, the Xs on your hand at bars/ music venues...whatever.

to the first question: why does someone have to advertise the fact that they got drunk on the weekend?

i'm not saying they have to, i was just saying that if he was gonna pull the "dont push your lifestyle on me" for having it in his usertitle thing, which seems to happen alot, there's sooooo much more discussion about drug/alcohol use lifestyles in these threads. that's all i was saying. for people to not be like "OMG STFU PLZ I DONT WANT TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR LIFESTYLE CHOICES OBTW I GOT SO HIGH AND DRUNK LAST WEEKENDLOL"
