To be honest, you'd have to be a very good rhythm player to not have problems with Necrophagist songs, they're stupid. The gaybag does it all live whilst singing too! Eh

The only thing is to just practise it lots, and lots, and lots and lots and lots...kinda thing, same with everything you want to get good at. That's why its annoying when people make threads saying, I'm trying to get good at this lick (fkgndkg), what should I practise? The answer is practise the lick you just posted, easy.

practise it slow (half speed) and increase it with time... to be serious the song is too hard for me, but i want to try it anyway.

The main reason I learned it was because it's short, and the two guitars don't really variate, unlike everything from [I]Epitaph[/I].

Hey quick question. What is a good way to record with my PC? Is there some special pedal I can get somewhere? I saw one...but it was a whole effects processer

I guess it depends on your price range, I use my KORG PX4 and it cost me £100 off Ebay when it was supposed to be around £160 I think, or you could just get a basic BOSS DS-1 pedal for £50, but then you'll only have a small range of tones etc.
Also, if you have your amp next to your pc, you could just buy a decent mic for that much and it'd probably sound better, depending on your sound card.

To be honest I have no idea about soundcards, except the better (more expensive) then the better sound quality you'll get. You might wanna look it up or ask around about how good your one is though.

To record you need:
Guitar - Amp - Mic - Soundcard - Recorder on pc

OR

Guitar - Amp - Wire from output to Line In on your pc - Recorder on pc

OR

Guitar - effects thing - Wire from output to Line In on your pc - recorder on pc.

I think thats enough possibilities.
I use the last one, my friend uses the middle one, so I know they both work and obviously the first one does since thats how most bands do it in the studio.
