The "Riot on an Empty Street" cd by Kings of Convenience.

Couldn't get any more relaxing than this.

Glitterati 03-12-2006 01:15 AM
XTC, particularly Skylarking and Black Sea. These guys could make anything catchy.

I've just started listening to the Beautiful South thanks to some sputnik recommendations. Great stuff.
I was just downloading some XTC the other day, good stuff.

Today I've been listening to

Alice Cooper - Dirty Diamonds. His new album, just picked it up today, really good.

And The Garden State soundtrack, which is just a collection of amazing music.
In jail, without the bail. In jail, without the bail

I think the best line on that album is the one about being weak in the knees like Christopher Reeves.
So many good lines. "Wolfman Jack" is spectacular. But then, the whole album is.
I wish it were for muderization. That would have been much better than CANNIBUS POSSESION UNDER 20 GRAMS.
It's actually really good. Yeah Yeah Yeah's are kind of a guilty pleasure of mine. I know a lot of people hate them.

Drive By Truckers

WOW. I've heard one song and I'll be damned if I'm not in love with them already. They are exactly what I've been looking for. I'm thinking I'll probably pick up The Dirty South ASAP.

Tangy zizzle 03-13-2006 02:31 AM

Good. good band right thurr Little Man. I'd reccomend Decoration Day or Gangstability first, then move onto Dirty South.

br3ad_man 03-13-2006 02:46 AM

There's something about The Strokes that prevents me from really being a fan of theirs, but they're really good for an occasional listen. I might listen to some Icarus Line in a bit.
