Berklee = overrated.

LR (maybe it was another double bassist) told stories about how the people there weren't nearly as good as they were cracked up to be (at least, in the bass department).

I wouldn't think it'd be "OMGWTF" super good anyhow, seeing as how it's incredibly expensive. I know I shouldn't judge it off of that, but I'm absolutely SURE they get more than a few rich kids who don't know that much and simply have the money and want to go to Berklee because it's "teh best".

It's sorta like guitar newbs with Marshall, or bass newbs with Ampeg. Not to say they aren't good (I happen to think the opposite :)), it's just that they like them because they're THEM. Like a newb who goes "I'ma buy a 8x10 Ampeg fullstack and a SVT-4 Pro. I've never touched a Ampeg before, but it's Ampeg, so it [i]has[/i] to be good."

Berklee is a waste of time. You can still study music at major universities, and get a more diverse education.

SDSU is actually more like a 5 year school. I'd go to UCSB, Cal State Northridge, Cal Poly, Cal State Long Beach (really good music program I hear)

Dude Uranium came to Richmond,Va(me hometown) to interview Lamb of God over the summer, and I saw it on TV a few weeks ago. its weird seeing places your used to seeing on network TV. lamb of God is kickass though and everyone should check them out.
