900 a fortnight, yeah it's ok. Mostly because I'm still casual even though I get stable hours. I'm moving to part time soon so I'll get a bit less, but holidays and sick pay is worth it.

I get 18.53 p/hour on weekdays with some ok penalties on weekends.

My last job paid 19.87 an hour weekdays, +25% on Saturdays and +50% on Sundays.
That's right about what I make before taxes as well (according to currency exchange rates). What are taxes like down there? I lose about 25-30% of my biweekly earnings to taxes and health care.

Convectuoso 09-22-2010 01:34 AM
Joel, upload a photo, I gotta check this shit out. You're one of those little small-man-syndrome nuggets aren't you? :p
Roger on the small, man and nuggests, negative on the syndrome...I hope :upset:

What good is a photo without any relative scale :p

Hmm, I think I get taxed about 10-11% or something similar. It's 900 or so after tax anyway.
Lmao anything but.

I'm pretty much have no fat, all muscle, but not bulky. So I have a pretty much perfect BMI, very little body fat, but nothing like someone who works out in terms of physique.

If any of that makes any sense.
wut i just got the internet can u help me lern the bass

FunkMetalBass 09-23-2010 02:26 PM

Yeah. Pick it up, use your fingers to make it go "bum bum bum bum bum."

It's the same as the guitar, but the strings are thicker and more expensive and you get laid less often.

OMG, this time travel shit is amazing! Bass guitar is powerful.

FunkMetalBass 09-24-2010 10:57 AM

A Perfect Circle is playing 3 consecutive nights here in November. Each night, they're playing through one of their albums. They're also having a meet & greet and a wine tasting.

Tickets go on sale in 4 minutes.

Must.Have.

FunkMetalBass 09-24-2010 11:14 AM

That ticket bundle for all 3 days sold out instantly, and individually, I paid the same amount for two shows as I would have with the ticket bundle to all three.

At least I got Mer de Noms and Thirteenth Step. I can do without eMOTIVe.

Wow. That's amazing.

I saw them open for NIN when they were touring for The Fragile, which was a few weeks or so before Mer De Noms was released. That was about 10 years ago... it would be sweet to see them again.

Those shows are going to be incredible you lucky something-or-other.

I really wanted to see all 3 nights, but at $40 per ticket (after "convenience charges"), it just wasn't possible financially.

Spaceman Spiff 09-24-2010 11:49 AM

I could very easily do without the eMOTIVe show. Mer De Noms and Thirteenth Step are going to be amazing.

I had no idea these guys were even up to anything. Last I heard was that they were possibly finished and then I didn't hear anything about them until now.
