PIGS(1 different one) 06-19-2005 06:31 PM

Can someone upload what they consider to be AC/DC'S rock masterpeice?

I want to hear their most epic song.

You can upload it here: www.yousendit.com

rippa32 06-19-2005 06:45 PM

All of them are good. But why dont you just look for Let There Be Rock, itll be easy to find.

acdcroker 06-20-2005 07:35 PM
fly on the wall is a great album but not many people give it a chance becos of the crappy production which was done by angus and Malcolm
Danger Shake Your Foundations and Sink the Pink are the only songs i really like the rest are just ok

rippa32 06-21-2005 02:43 AM

Who produced Flick of the Switch?

AB/CD 06-21-2005 11:10 AM

Angus and Malcolm produced flick of the switch well i think it was all of AC/DC think it says it on the back

rippa32 06-21-2005 06:32 PM

Has anyone also noticed the kinda crappy production of For Those About to Rock? You can hardly hear Brian's voice.

AB/CD 06-22-2005 06:30 AM

well i dont see how u worked that out becos the production on for those about to rock would probably be exactly the same as back in black becos it was mutt lange on both

motleyman 06-22-2005 08:22 AM

phill rudd and angus are awsome. i don't no wut yur tokin about

motleyman 06-22-2005 08:23 AM

spenser93 06-22-2005 08:24 AM
just let me say in advance that a lot of people will probably disagree with me on this but im kind of hypocritical on this so here i go....

AC/DC is a good band in the sense that they play catchy tunes that you can hear for the first time and sing along to or tap your foot to. but.... Thats because there songs a simple but good. AC/DC isnt all that great of musicians they've won people over simplicity and catchyness
Ac/Dc=PWNAGE

But seriosly ac dc is one of the better 70's bands that actully had distortion aside from van halen.......

Jovian 06-22-2005 08:40 AM

Highway to Hell.... best AC/DC song ever.

AB/CD 06-22-2005 01:51 PM

have u heard a song other than highway to hell or back in black?

TyVeRsOn_03 06-22-2005 06:53 PM

cmon u guys ac/dc is the best band on the face of the earth...ive seen a lot of ppl disagree........but when u compare selling records 2 most other bands ac/dc will b near the top.....and they have some serious talent.....

rippa32 06-22-2005 07:30 PM

learn grammer please.

AB/CD 06-23-2005 06:00 AM

learn to spell then post somewhere else we have heard speeches like that plenty of times dont need it to start all over again

Bon_Scottie 06-23-2005 02:45 PM

The only thing that annoys me about the remastered CD's is that the corners of the cases seem to wear away, even without touching them.

Random thought there.

barnz1986 06-23-2005 04:01 PM

simple, yeah, but great. one of my favorite bands. oh yeah, anyone can recognize acdc because of bon Scott and Brian Johnsons' voices.
holy! 72nd page!

BrokenMachine 06-23-2005 04:02 PM

One of the better bands of the 80's and years following. Their music is just addictive.

AB/CD 06-23-2005 05:08 PM

****ing better band of the 70s right through 80, 90s and hopefilly 00s

Brewer14 06-23-2005 05:14 PM

Not only that, but Angus and Malcolm's tones are instantly recognizable.

Case in point- Id never heard Live Wire before, yet as soon as I heard the opening bass line, and the guitar kick in, I knew it was AC/DC. They've got one of the most recognizable sounds out there.

AB/CD 06-23-2005 05:17 PM

only cos they dont go over the top they dont exactly go right we need this big *** lead intro i mean thunderstruck wasnt even that difficult an intro but it sounded great and if any1 says he plays it with 1 hand ill slap u with a massive trout on a stick

slash10 06-23-2005 06:00 PM

AC/DC was the band that made me play guitar... my biggest influences are angus young and slash... ac/dc's songs may be simple, but angus can really play the guitar.. but... what do i know?? im only 13

AB/CD 06-23-2005 06:17 PM

yeah Angus wail on a guitar

Ive never been able to work out why people thought he played it with one hand.

EinzingerIsGod 06-23-2005 08:23 PM

Probably one of the most over rated bands ever aside from the Beatles. Everything sounds like its in Am to me. I just can't hear the variation.

rippa32 06-23-2005 10:32 PM

Good for you.

Brewer14 06-23-2005 10:57 PM
Ive never been able to work out why people thought he played it with one hand.
Prolly cause he does it in the video

rippa32 06-23-2005 11:05 PM

He does? What you mean the promo clip?

Brewer14 06-23-2005 11:06 PM
He does? What you mean the promo clip?
Yeah

It does look cool. Ive heard he plays it that way live for show

Ballsack_AC/DC69 06-23-2005 11:08 PM
Ive never been able to work out why people thought he played it with one hand.
Because he does in the Thunderstruck video.

Ballsack_AC/DC69 06-23-2005 11:10 PM
Yeah

On No Bull, Live At Donnington, and Stiff Upper Lip he doesn't.

rippa32 06-23-2005 11:11 PM

Yer thats what I thought cause I have Donington and Ive never seen him do it. He does for part of Dirty Deeds solo and other various places though.

Brewer14 06-23-2005 11:13 PM
Yer thats what I thought cause I have Donington and Ive never seen him do it. He does for part of Dirty Deeds solo and other various places though.
Oh. I dunno if he does it live or not, Ive just heard he does.

rippa32 06-24-2005 04:01 AM

Not for thunderstruck he doesnt. We need a change of topic, how about Family Jewels, I still dont have it, is it worth it for just a few promo clips and hardly any live footage?

AB/CD 06-24-2005 04:10 AM

the promo clips r good tho very cheap like but good live clips r better tho id say its worth it just to see themm all cos a few r rare

rippa32 06-24-2005 04:31 AM

I will eventually but probably not in near future. Ive almost got all of Bons albums that and the Bonfire boxset might be first.

AB/CD 06-24-2005 04:45 AM

bonfire boxset is allright ive never listened to it all really cos youve rpetty much heard everythign on it already cos the volts disk with the original of whole lottarosie an all does actually sound very simaliar to them songs in some ways

Bon_Scottie 06-24-2005 12:18 PM

Anybody seen the video for Big Gun?

angusvsslash52 06-24-2005 12:28 PM

I came along a song "Boom Boom" it was done in a radio interview, when they were publicising Ballbreaker, its pretty awesome, Brian sings it pretty dman awesome, and Angus' playin is awesome, I like this song sang by Brian almost more than when John Lee Hooker played it and sang it.

AB/CD 06-24-2005 04:36 PM

ive tried for ages to get the video for big gun but ive seen pictures of arnie dressed as Angus
