GurS 07-06-2004 06:49 AM

oh yes, no cheating.

Thunder Fingers 07-06-2004 06:50 AM
'twas merely an observation.

here's a good game for increasing the thread popularity.

someone has to say AT LEAST one line of a maiden song. Everyone else then has to guess which song it is, and what album it's from. The person who said the line then has to post the verse or chorus that the line is from, making the line bold and italics. if that makes sense.

So i'll start.

"even in my wildest dreams"
Wildest Dream, Dance of Death

and it would be a little bit Spam :p

GurS 07-06-2004 06:50 AM

Wrong

GurS 07-06-2004 06:51 AM

give up?

Thunder Fingers 07-06-2004 06:52 AM
Wrong
ah, how could i, i didnt think! its Infinite Dreams, from Seventh son of a seventh son (Dude maiden got like 4 songs with that line...)

GurS 07-06-2004 06:54 AM

just the one i think, actually. the one i wildest dreams is "make my wildest dreams come true"

your go

Thunder Fingers 07-06-2004 06:55 AM

"seems like someone just opened the door to life, or is it death?"

GurS 07-06-2004 06:57 AM

i have absolutley no idea, that must be from either : piece of mind, somewhere in time, the x-factor or virtual xi, coz those are the 4 albums i don't have

FrailandBedazzled1979 07-06-2004 01:32 PM
i tried to keep it on the first page, but im gues im not as populare as frail :p
YDload 07-06-2004 02:41 PM

The first Maiden song I ever heard was "2 Minutes to Midnight," but I didn't think much of them until I got a bass guitar. Then I heard "Run to the Hills" and thought, "Hey, this is the same band! Their bassist is good!"

micket_b 07-06-2004 03:03 PM

xAzagthothx 07-06-2004 03:09 PM

ATTN: EVERYONE

Those of you in a band, look at my post about people in bands:

this is what is posted on that thread:

Aight fools... we all know that the Death Heads thread has revolutionized the online metal underground... kinda. well... how about we take the next step, and go outside of the box into reality.

Angeldeath wants to start an underground unsigned band tape trade/distro: Bands send each other their demos, cds, tapes, shirts....anything in exchange for other band's merch, and then sell them at shows. That way, were helping expose each other all over the place, plus were getting some cash in our pockets which is cool too.

SO. Any/all people who play in bands that are definitely metal, no ****ing genre exclusion... any and all metal, post your email/contacts here and what your band has, and then lets get the underground revolution started again.

Shady Ultima 07-06-2004 03:46 PM

Er spam, I first heard Aces High, and didn't like it at first (I was still a Linkin Park fan.. sad to say) Then I heard it again and liked it more, so I went out and bought Powerslave, the CD is still one of my faves, and Maiden one of my fave bands, and i know a lot of their songs on bass. MY fave to play is Phantom though

for the game thing, I'll start off a new one
"And I know of that pain that you feel the same as me."

Thunder Fingers 07-06-2004 03:59 PM

xAzagthothx 07-06-2004 09:35 PM

What song/album/anything did it for you, and got you hooked on Maiden?

Mine was definitely the first time i heard The Trooper. Those harmony riffs... just ate me

GurS 07-07-2004 03:28 AM

"*guitar solo*"

nah, i kid

"you made the mistake of picking it up now you're gone" - not entirley sure if that line's accurate but it's close enough

GurS 07-07-2004 03:43 AM

i'm going to israel O NOS being blown up. not really. but i'm kinda back-packing in israel for a month, i have to leave my house in a few hours (for about 3pm, it's 11 am here) but my parents want to "do stuff".

Thunder Fingers 07-07-2004 05:27 AM

That's "The Duelists" from "Powerslave."

I think I'll add one too, because I'm a jerk and nobody can see to get ETT's:

"Axes grind and maces clash/ as wounded fighters faaaaaall to the ground"

INVADERS!

"Should we keep at bay the Beast?"
