I'm debating on getting Haunting the Chapel. But I've heard every song on that album, and the only store I know that has it, is selling it for 15 bucks, and don't have that kind of money as of right now.

South of Heaven as worst of the first Lombardo era? That's like my all time favorite Slayer, Lombardo or not.

i got to see them at tattoo the planet about 3-4 years ago... i would never have gone in that pit even if you paid me... f***ing hell, one of the most violent pits i've ever seen... i went to the toilet and the floor and walls were covered in blood... one guy in there was complaining that his nose just got broke again...

that was the same year that Cradle of Filth played... they were pretty good too... was disapointed that pantera dropped out though...:(

anyone seen their live at the warfield DVD? the mental guy screaming SLAYER lol cracks me up every time...

ha. i've got that dvd... the guy rips the beer can in half with his teeth...
and there's the hipy guy who claimed to be satanic and hear inner demons by the name of jim carey...
Tom's vocals aren't too great on that dvd though...
but the pit's are f***ing crazy...

Yeah I saw them last year. It was probably the best concert I'd been to.

Yes, that DVD is pretty good. I thought some of the people they interviewed were a tad bit crazy.

Yeah, I think that was the point of the documentary though, I don't think its supposed to be taken serioulsy, it doesn't exactly give a balanced view of what most Slayer fans are like.

Basically, Divine Intervention was their last great release IMO, I didn't dig GHUA, Diabolus was a good album, but not as good as the old stuff
