In person?!?!?

Bill Bailey's worth going to see just for the music.

The Ashtray Girl 11-10-2004 04:17 PM

Definitely! Portishead remix of Somewhere Over The Rainbow and Kraftwerk reworking of the national anthem in one night?!.. that's gotta be taken in small doses.

Iai 11-10-2004 05:18 PM

This is a little random, but are any of you registered on OKCupid? I just thought it'd be funny to use the compare function on other people on this forum.

Iai 11-10-2004 05:42 PM

Guys, can you all do me a huge favour? Rock & Metal - well, Medopalis - are doing a contest to find that forum's Top 100 Songs Of All Time.

What I want you all to do is go into the open vote thread, and vote for Afghan Whigs - Debonair. If it actually gets in there, I will be the happiest bunny ever.

Please??
Tommorow, I will be free to rule The Village Green Preservation Society. Well Respected Man will be back, SPREAD THE WORD!
Just like to point out that at the time you posted that, you'd already been unbanned for 10 hours or so :)

Welcome back Cos. And ZERO, you have made some awfully bizarre choices for the R&M best song nominations. Were you copying a playlist, trying to sneak something interesting in, or just looking to start trouble among the more narrow-minded metalheads?

Well_Respected_Man 11-10-2004 07:46 PM

ZERO you're the best for adding Good Vibrations, hopefully it can make the final list, that would be great fun. :thumb:

Happymeal 11-10-2004 07:53 PM

I haven't massaged someone in a long time. I'm getting rusty.

*looks for victim*

Tangy zizzle 11-10-2004 08:03 PM

You can start in bunyon country...

Well_Respected_Man 11-10-2004 08:09 PM

Tangy I really like Hi-Lites by the Hot Snakes, I'm trying to find more.

YDload 11-10-2004 08:15 PM

So who's up for invading R&M's best song thread and re-nominating all of ZERO's least rock-and-metal-like songs? We can avenge the Alt./Indie screwup by nominating MBV's "Loveless" into the top 10 category.

Well_Respected_Man 11-10-2004 08:31 PM

What's wrong with MBV boi?

But sure that sounds like a fun idea. Everybody vote Good Vibrations, it already has two votes. ;)

Nothing's wrong with it, just like nothing's wrong with Dark Side of the Moon. But people will complain that they don't belong in certain forums, and that's when we strike!

Also, you can count on me to vote Good Vibrations. I couldn't think of one hundred songs that I'd really want to see in the polls, so I'm up for nominating some just for kicks.

Luxor 11-10-2004 08:44 PM

Hello!

Or better yet make up a band and get around 7 people to vote for it.

I propose

BodyMan2000 - Kill The Babies

YDload 11-10-2004 08:54 PM

No, it has to be a little more believable. I propose: Sacrofascist- Theatre of Blood

Bartender 11-10-2004 08:55 PM

Maybe you Alt/Indiens aren't as clever as I thought.

You know I read this thread, yet you're plotting to sabotage an R&M poll :)

Well_Respected_Man 11-10-2004 08:56 PM

Good one

This is risky business man, we could get banned

Bartender shuush :chug:

Who's with us.

Tangy zizzle 11-10-2004 09:05 PM

So what song/s do we vote for?

Well_Respected_Man 11-10-2004 09:06 PM

Sacrofascist- Theatre of Blood

and

Beach Boys - Good Vibrations

YDload 11-10-2004 09:31 PM

Wow, I got a lot of negative points for that suggestion.

Tangy zizzle 11-10-2004 09:45 PM

I nominated Good Vibrations and a Clinic song, but I'm not voting for that made up one. I don't wanna get banned.

Bartender 11-10-2004 10:10 PM
George Thorogood and the Destroyers - Bad to the Bone
You rule.
