It works on my emulator, I really need to play it again.

They also made a port of Chrono Trigger and FFIV for playstation.
Crono Trigger was my favorite game for SNES

Bartender 09-06-2004 06:15 PM

I've never played Chrono Trigger, but I always get the feeling I should have.

SofaKing713 09-06-2004 06:17 PM

Riva 09-06-2004 06:53 PM

Ah.. I loved my SNES... pity its's busted now... :(
Bubsy, MarioKart, Super Mario, Chronotrigger.... all just memories now...

Bartender 09-06-2004 06:56 PM

Buy a new one?

Riva 09-06-2004 07:02 PM

Not with the prices they are now! I could fix it for less. But I'm too broke.

In this past month, I've had to buy new tires: $284
Textbooks: $180
Car payments: $210

And the budget I have only allows for $40 bucks spending money, half of which goes to petrol. :upset:
I've never played Chrono Trigger, but I always get the feeling I should have.
!!!!!!!

Go...play...it...now....

The best RPG, ever. Better than Final Fantasy, IMHO. Chrono Trigger is teh 1337 RPG. I can't stress this enough.

By the way, what is with the massive influx of morons this weekend? The front page is full of shyte. These bass player threads are really pissing me off...I can't sit idle while people tout off Cliff Burton as a better player than Myung.

Paranoidd 09-07-2004 08:31 AM
Buy a new one?
Or get an emulator, play for free, and save/load anytime.

Kingofdudes 09-07-2004 09:46 AM

Emulators are great, except some games dont run too well on emulators.

Bartender 09-07-2004 09:52 AM

Yeah, emulators are fun. The only one I've ever seen was a Sega one, which was great..didn't know there were others.

gmoneyguy 09-07-2004 09:54 AM

I havent played my emulator in quite a while. maybe I'll play some Chrono.

I love Fallout and Fallout 2 roughly thirty times more than I ever liked Final Fantasy..and I really enjoyed Final Fantasy. But I'll check out Chrono Trigger, if I can.

The flood of idiots might be because school's back, in most places anyway.

gmoneyguy 09-07-2004 09:55 AM

Mario RPG that game was fun a shyt... kinda lame, but still fun, i can find a file for that game

Kingofdudes 09-07-2004 09:57 AM

They got them for everything; playstation, gamecube, gameboy advanced, etc.

Paranoidd 09-07-2004 10:00 AM

Yeah, you can emulate pretty much any system (except the very new ones).

I was always found the N64 emulator to be a bit dodgy. It's not much fun if you don't have the same controller. Stupid nintendo and their stupid controller configuration.

I keep forgetting to play fallout! I don't think they sell it here, I'm gonna check e-bay and my download site...

edit: word...fallout 2 on Ebay...for $2.50 :D

Final Fantasy (the original, on cartridge for NES) was probably the most difficult game I ever played. It took forever to finally beat it, and even when I did, I barely scratched by. One tough game.

Paranoidd 09-07-2004 12:18 PM

Bumpige.

Bartender 09-07-2004 12:34 PM

Nice eBay find. Does it says if it's the US or European version?

Paranoidd 09-07-2004 12:41 PM

US according to the seller.

Bartender 09-07-2004 12:52 PM

Alright then. The US version is the better one :)

superpeer 09-07-2004 12:53 PM

Umm, I don't mean to sound stupid, but what is an emulator? :(

Paranoidd 09-07-2004 01:04 PM

An emulator is a computer program that "emulates" a video game system.

for example, ZsNES is a Super NES emulator. It's great, not only can you download pretty much any game (known as a "ROM"), but there are graphics options, sound options, the ability to save/load up to 10 slots at any time, a built in Game Genie, etc, etc, etc. Emulators are great if you love console games but hate collecting the games themselves. Theres Bleem! which emulates playstation, Genecyst for Genesis, etc.

Dancin' Man 09-07-2004 01:07 PM

My frienf had one for N64 and he had Mario Kart.

Anyhoo, I'm back.

Paranoidd 09-07-2004 01:08 PM

The N64 emulator was always dodgy for me, because it only worked with Voodoo chipsets or something at the time, and I've always been NVidia. Plus nobody has a controller like that on their PC (well, probably most people don't).
