Okay then. Our album is out in just over a week, so we decided to put together a short album appetiser. Give it a listen? It's a pretty big deal to us! If you like it, we're taking pre-orders and several online stores will also be stocking it. Currently it's on soundcloud and also myspace if you prefer low quality.

|
Did you not get my email the other day? Sent it to your nps vampire acc or whatevs.
it's: my first name + halford at windows live dot com |
-_-
|
Why don't people just do this.
|
Because apparently this is one of the ways that spam companies get your email address...
|
Yeah, web crawlers or "spiders" trawl through internet pages looking for e-mail addresses in that format and just harvest them.
I think they search for the @ symbol and grab whatever block of text it's in. If you put in spaces or anything to make it unusable then that is supposed to trick them as in address/@/somewhere.com should do it, because then if they harvest that it's unusable. |
Yeah I already get enough spam so would you please edit your post Ryan :p
|
Lol Liam are you expecting me to master the MP3's? Or is it for listening purposes only?
Cause if it's the former lolwut? |
yeah my bad bro megauploading the wavs to you
ill email in the AM how soon do you think you can have them done? |
All good brah.
I can schedule some time this weekend, busy all this week till then. But I think I can do it in a day or two, but probably just a day. So maybe by Saturday night? Whatever that equals in America land? We're GMT+12 if that helps lol. |
I think Saturday night for us is like, midnight Friday.

Man, I can't wait for blue ray stuff to come down in price. Maybe by next winter, I'll get a blue ray burner & discs and burn my entire DVD collection to blue ray. Sure, quality wont be as good as blue ray movies, but I can fit entire seasons of shows on one disc....so badass.

Convince me not to do a Business Degree. Pwease.

I'm actually not just saying this because you think it's a bad idea. Only study business if you're certain you're either good at it, or will really enjoy it. Even when you do enjoy parts of it a lot of the core units like finance and accounting are boring as shit. I was doing business majoring in marketing but dropped out because of all the other units I had to do. Some were too hard for me because I'm not a business-orientated person per se (hence doing marketing, the more creative side of it), some were just boring as staring at shit. Anyway, long story short i dropped out of that and into a BFA in creative and professional writing doing a minor in marketing so I can still do the part I enjoy. And also, I'm sure I'll get some disagreeances from other students; but if you don't know what you want to study, don't fucking go. Seriously, imo just save some money and try and figure out what you really want to do. I proved all the people wrong who said I'd never go back after a year long break, which is what the main argument for going to uni ASAP is. I know people who have no less than 4 tertiary degrees and can't get a job, it's not the end of the world if you take a while to actually figure out what you want to do or don't go at all and work yourself up, do an apprenticeship/traineeship/internship, whatever. |
Honestly get a job unless you're sure that the degree you're doing is worth it.
The assumption that you need a degree to make good money is a lie, uni ends up basically being a daycare centre for high school graduates who don't want to join the real world yet. |

what do you think of my teaser duncster
I'm impressed with the sort of "theme" you guys got going on there consistently with the drums throughout the album. Easy to pick out from a teaser >.<. Second tune on there sounds like it will be badass. Would be cool if you guys produced some CDs, I'd order one fooo sho. |

Eh, I'm not a big enough gamer to warrant the extra $$ for the console portion of it.
Convince me not to do a Business Degree. Pwease.
I wouldn't recommend that ANYBODY get a business degree. Here's what you learn in business classes: * Marketing * Accounting * Economics Here's what you don't learn in business classes: * Business Business is something you learn through practice and failure. If you can't balance a checkbook, you shouldn't be in business. Sure, the degree will look good on paper for somebody (only if you're wanting to work somewhere that requires an MBA or business degree - completely worthless if you want to be self-employed), and you will learn the more subtle nuances of the stock market. But let's be honest, if your business is doing well enough to have stock options, you didn't get there from what you learned in business classes. |

I think, if you ever think you'll want a degree, you should go and get the boring, bullsh*t prerequisites out of the way. It'll give you two years to decide, and then, if you can't decide, take time off and save the money until you can decide, or just take classes that you enjoy. |
I'm almost done with my Diploma in Audio Engineering and I'm freaking out about employment is all lol. Should be okay though. I tend to just get a bit disillusioned if you're having a crappy day.
But thanks for the advice broskis. :chug: |
