yeah i play bass in my band and like 90% of the song my parts consist of me hammering on the notes with my fretting hand and doing all volume swells with my picking hand on the volume knob. i need a volume pedal.

no i haven't smoked pot in almost 2 years now.

Can't remember the last time for me but i've only smoked 3 maybe 4 times.

Didn't like it to be honest.

i liked it for a while and then i was like "hey this is lame we spent like $40 to just sit around and watch tv and laugh why don't we do something more interesting"

I've had no spare cash for any for a few weeks, it's been a bummer.

Well, if you have the means it makes sitting around a lot more fun. Usually I actually do something with it though, like go to a party or play music.

Speaking of money, for some reason i have $60 in my wallet right now.

I should really deposit some of that.

ugh. my band is all "omg we need to do this this this and this and bring it to promoters because they won't book us if they haven't heard us" and i'm all "well why don't we just get some other bands together and book our own show and not give a big chunk of money to promoters? sure it'll be more work for us but that's better than waiting months to play shows"

Yeah, you definitely don't need promoters. Getting to know the guys in the local scene will be all you need to start getting shows.

yeah and we're good friends with a couple other bands here. and the group i'm in is organizing a whole music festival right now, booking a little show would be way easy.

and they want to buy pre-made designs for our ep and shirts and stuff, and i'd rather us design it or get people we know to help us design it. so now i'm going to draw up my ideas and be like "hey do you like this design? we don't have to pay $50 to own it"


like it's cool that we're looking into booking big shows and everything, and that we're close to having our ep ready to print and ready to get merch, but i guess i just have a different mindset than they do about getting stuff done.

Te set ups chaned slightly since this, flattened the toms a lil, got a new snare moved cymbals about a bit but you get the idea
