wouldn't it be so cool to talk to metallica? even with e-mail?
|
cliff was like the beethoven of bass, without him probably we dont have fade to black, master of puppets and orion as we know them.
that's a bit closed minded. i'd say victor wooten is the beethoven of bass. maybe cliff is more like.... maybe mozart? or even elton john |
Cliff was the one to start the trend of Metallica's bass solos. Without him we wouldn't have had the memorable "Pulling Teeth",now would we? Suprised no-one else has quoted on that on yet!
yea thats a fantastic track. bit repeteive 2 begin with but really good after lars comes in on the drums. then he starts tapping and bending n s'hit |

that'd be a little stalkerish... and why do people spell it jaymz? did i miss something? it sounds like it should be james. i wouldn't think a metalhead would spell his name preppily and yes everyone needs to hear some rob. he's really great 2,900th post! only 100 more to go |
i'm not a FFAF friend myself, although they were influenced by metallica.
this threads quite good tonight, it was like a ghost town last night. |

You can get famous names on things like hotmail and sell them for a fortune on e-bay. My step brother did it ;) |

****ing hell - say something. ask him about the new album. actually kirk would probably be the best one to talk to, he seems the friendliest. but still - incredible.
|
that's a bit closed minded. i'd say victor wooten is the beethoven of bass. maybe cliff is more like.... maybe mozart? or even elton john
I believe that Wooten is the GOD of bass. |

It probably isn't really him foo' |
WHAT HAPPEN AFTER THE 3000 POST(forgive my ignorance)
shall i start off another 1 or does official mean mods have to start em |
try it. ask him to prove that its jaymz by asking him some really hard metallica trivia that hardly anyone else knows.
|
shall i start off another 1 or does official mean mods have to start em
1.yes, only mods can make official threads 2.Why on earth would you start another one? |
get this: i jus went msn an put jameshetfield@hotmail.com to my contacts and it worked! but i xpect its jus some lonely attention seekin git lyin bout his name.
I think you're right about that being some lonely attention-seeker. I'm sure famous people wouldn't go ahead and make their usernames so obvious that everyone can know it's them. But then again, some might. Who knows. Good luck! :thumb: |
It probably isn't really him foo'
yea, as i said... ill ask im if its him. he probs gets this all the time, jaymz or not |
shall i start off another 1 or does official mean mods have to start em
what??? and yes, the email is most likely not james'. |
try it. ask him to prove that its jaymz by asking him some really hard metallica trivia that hardly anyone else knows.
But, if he is that sad that he has that MSN he probably knows more about Metallica than us |
1.yes, only mods can make official threads
2.Why on earth would you start another one?
this onz about 2 end, innit? or am i mistaken... |
this onz about 2 end, innit? or am i mistaken...
why would it end? |
hooray. 18000 posts for the metallica thread.

|
WHAT HAPPEN AFTER THE 3000 POST(forgive my ignorance)
enter natman - where did everyone go?
|
to MXican: cos this guy(up) replied to some other guy that said we only had 100 more posts 2 go
Yea, well he may have inadvertantly been talking crap. |
did the jaymz e-mail thing work anyone?
|
What I think!
theres about a billion rumours going around, a lot of them on this forum that they be returning to their early 90s black album sound. :thumb: :D
If i remember correctly i heard loads of rumours that they were going to do something like the Black album a while ago, then a little album came out called S.t Anger, I think the truth is, No-One, appart from Tallica and a few producers know a thing, its all what people think, Not what has been officially said. I do not think the new album will be anything like other albums to be honest, i think it will be quite a relaxed album, with loads of misterious tracks, kinda like Temptation that can be heard on S.K.O.M (Has that Jaymez hetfield addy on MSN, Not came online as of yet though..) |
enter natman - where did everyone go?
still here but the e-mail thing is not very fun to talk. |
dont worry anyways
:thumb: |
so it's not him?
