WIITR no, new Drudkh maybe not, but old Drudkh certainly knew how to create an atmosphere and how to build up to a high point which takes some skill. I never said great either, you said no skill which is what I was arguing. Listen to Autumn Aurora and tell me anyone could just pick up an instrument and write something like that.
Older Drudkh is great stuff. Not a huge fan of their latest, but its still good material. Like I said before, WITTR have talent, people just don't like their message. |
I <3 all Drudkh :)
|
I could do without Estrangement and Songs...
|
Well that doesn't say much, since there was only two people in the argument.
It does: you initiated it and the crux of your argument was entirely irrelevant. Stop being a ****in idiot |
Everyone check out Njiqahdda

I said they're lacking skill and songwriting ability. Why do people seem to be arguing **** im not even saying or implying. The fact WITTR has very little skill at songwriting has nothing to do with their message. |

Sure, what album? |

I never talked about their message or any **** like that that was Ron. Nice ninja on the original response btw. :) |

What the ****? Silenius: "I never said great either, you said no skill which is what I was arguing." I never said no skill at any point. Ninja of the original response? All I edited was to say for fans of neofolk tinged black metal, thats it. Also I never said you were talking about the message, im too lazy to quote two posts, everyone seemed to pick up on that but you. This is ****ing ridiculous hahahhaha. |
Ok, I'm in the mood, so help me in my quest to become acquainted with all the kvlt, essential black metal. I'm looking for both dirty as fuck, brutal as hell bands, as well as more foresty acoustic black metal, obviously only the essentials of both types.
Here is a brief list of black metal bands I already have albums from, so please don't recommend from these: Arkhon Infaustus, Bathory, Belenos, Black Horizons, Burzum, Daemonarch, Darkthrone, Dissection, Drudkh, Emperor, Fluisterwoud, Gorgoroth, Marduk, Nokturnal Mortum, Primordial, Rotting Christ, Satyricon, Summoning, Sykdom, Ulver, Wolves in the throne Room
Wehrhammer - Blut Und Ehre Forest - Like A Blaze Above The Ashes Brenoritvrezorkre - Nèvgzérýa Black Murder - Feasts Vlad Tepes/Belkretre - March To The Black Holocaust Blasphemy - Fallen Angel Of Doom Archgoat - Angelcunt Branikald - To Kampf VON - Satanic Blood |

Try out Kataxu - Hunger of Elements It's very symphonic but it's also really good. |
Try out Kataxu - Hunger of Elements

You check myspace or some shi?
|
Yeah.

np: Dissection-Storm of the Lights Bane
Not bad...not amazing either. Intro track is pretty badass, second track is just alright. Third track is good again. |

Semantics aside I am simply saying Drudkh and Summoning are quite capable of writing well thought out and even intricate music in response to you criticizing their musical abilities. This is regardless of what we think of the bands style and whether we like them or not. Rasputin - /mandatory thread recommendation of Basilisk |
Dissection reminds me of I'm Charming. He would never stop bitching about how amazing they were.
Therefore, I do not like Dissection. |
you don't like Dissection, because a douchebag liked them
thats dumb fyi...this is my first listen of dissection. np-thorns of crimson death i think thorns and the s/t track are the best so far |
