I feel weird, I never wanted to play Fade To Black, or Master of Muppets on guitar.
The single song to inspire me to pick up guitar was Orion.
When I could play from the intro to the soft part (Just the rhythm though, I haven't tried the solos) I kinda just gave up though....

Basically the whole album because its my favorite

Damm I'm not even an avid fan and I can answer a good chunk of those.

2. The hell? I just had it. I know he died in a bus crash though.
3. James. I think one of the roadies played guitar for him while he healed?

Okay maybe it wasn't that big of a chunk, but oh well.

Just one final thing. A bit of personnal opinion and you can take it to heart or take it with a grain of salt I could give a **** less, I'm still gonna say it.
Metallica was great up until St. Anger. From then on they have started to slide into a great big pile of suckdom. Now St. Anger may have some good songs, but judging from the title song it's pretty awful. They are starting to suck because they have changed thier sound way too much. I feel like thier trying to fit in with the newer bands.

Ron Quintana came up with the name: Lars and James stole it from a magazine he created (which was then renamed)
Cliff wasn't actually their first bassist, it was Ron Mcgovney.

I think if anyone dies in the band, it's over. Metallica without James, Kirk, or Lars, will never be the same Metallica. Even though they're not the same now as they have been, I don't think the chemistry could ever be the same again if one of the members died.

I wouldn't want to see the band continue if it were missing one of those three.

Those three are all equally quintessential Metallica. There would be no Metallica without any one of them.

What worries me is that this may actually be sooner than later if the reports I hear of Kirk getting arthritis are true.

If the lost Lars, they COULD keep going. When he was sick they were quick to find a replacement.

I was looking at some 80s metallica albums, which are the best in my opinion, and I noticed in the foldout booklets that some of the guys were wearing a belt that looked like it had bullets all across it. Lars is wearing it in the first picture on Ride The Lightning.

If anyone knows were I can buy(online) a belt like this I would be so ****ing gratefull. Help me out! :confused:

Check either the Metallica store at allmetallica.com or ebay. I doubt you'll find it, so you might be better off making one yourself.

If Rob dies they [U]Might[/U] be able to move on, but probably not.

If any of the other three dies, they kind of have to break up. Without the other three, it's just not Metallica.

If Lars dies they'll be better off.
