Modern Life Is Krazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzey |
You can throw all the bull shit at me about marcellus wallace's soul, but Tarantino said himself in some TV interview that the briefcase wasn't anything important, it was just there to build the story around.
You could say the briefcase has a big meaning, but if the briefcase was a cheeseburger, it would essentially have no effect on the story.
Well that's where I was going with that you bastard =P, but yeah now that I think about it as much as I love that movie, I have no idea how it was so popular it is so fucking non-linear.
Ash would've liked Gospel back in his angsty days. But now that he is a tree smoking hippie he only can listen to IWASMOFFY's useless ambience.
Hahahaha Ash was the person who told me about Gospel. He said they were good and I just randomly picked up the LP and was just like "DAMN!" Ash has gotten me into some good bands since I've known him, he needs to come back and show me awesome bands like in the good ol' days. /reminisces |
Hey guys I'm making myself some t-shirts of some bands that I like and I was wondering if you could give me some ideas for images for these bands:

When the movie was shipped overseas, some countries thought they accidentally got a 'mixed' version, so they re-cut it and put it in chronological order. |
IWASMOFFY = I Would Set Myself on Fire For You, right?

I'm not big on a lot of emo since I don't think I've broken into a lot of it yet, but I can't stop listening to City Of Caterpillar. What band should I start with next? :|

Epic....go for Envy, Yage, Yaphet Kotto, Sinking Steps Rising Eyes, Funeral Diner, and A Day In Black And White. You can getfile some of this stuff on AIM from me if you like. sn: neeshacker |
I'm on Soulseek, same sn. Don't use AIM so much anymore. I'll check that stuff out though.
Oh, I did check out Yaphet a while ago, loved them, been meaning to d/l. |
rofl my hair looks nothing like that of a black person.
rofl yeah my hair is probably closer but WHATEVS I might add Gospel to that list. CoC can get pretty spacy and trippy, Gospel is one of the only other bands I can think of like that. |
Heard plenty of Gospel too, like them but yeah, they are a bit different.

What exactly are you trying to say? |
u=uterus.
i really like coc it kind of bums me out that i don't listen to them that much and they are pretty much undiscussed on here now. |
Allright then, let's discuss coc.
City of Caterpillar are amazing. All of their songs are atmospheric, and it totally just takes you over when you listen to them. Its not exacty something you listen to sitting around at a party, more or less something you take time out to listen to and cherish all of it awesomeness. |
The thread used to be named after them >_>
Anyway yeah what cobert said. I like them because they have this post-rocky feel to them, they have this total feel for dynamics. |
The thread used to be named after them >_>
Anyway yeah what cobert said. I like them because they have this post-rocky feel to them, they have this total feel for dynamics.
Yeah, then people threw a little bitch fit to get it changed, like it was seriously hurting anything. Speaking of post-rock, I remember an Explosions In The Sky thread in here a while back. |
i just really really love that like clean dissonant guitar line at the very beginning of the first song on their s/t
and the windy distortion guitar riff after it. i want to listen to them now but i'm not on my music computer honestly i barely ever listen to them, but when i do i always enjoy it |
I'm big on post-rock because it's what I end up recording. If I had a full band I'd probably end up in post-hardcore or something.
