You dont have to. Just plug the mic youll buy to the comp, download and open audacity and your set. Itll all go directly to your comp.

I know...but my parents REALLY wouldn't appreciate my singing in the living room, where this computer is. I want to put Audacity on the computer in my room, which doesn't have the Internet.
