You should get either Live at Winterland or Europe 72', though. 4-disc live sets are awesome.
ok ok, i admit it, i'm a classic rock nut. i love led zeppelin, the beatles, the who, eric clapton, the doors, and so on. most of the bands i listen to broke up years before i was born. at 17, nearly every song on my playlist is older than me. but is it just my imagination, or is classic rock experiencing sort of a revival. i am running into an increasing number of classic rock fans my age. at my school (an all boys high school), the school newspaper took a poll of everyone's favorite genre and band. led zeppeling got 5th and the beatles got 6th, behind that rap crap. classic rock made up a large percent of ppls favorite genre. is this just by me, or are other ppl noticing this too?
This is now a Classic Rock Discussion thread!
Man I love classic rock too. AC/DC Led Zeppelin Black Sabbath Jimi Hendrix and Pink Floyd. Zeppelin rocks \m/ Stonefree is my favourite song because of the cowbell.lol |
Live Dead is very cool.
Skull & Roses > Live Dead ^ By a ****ing mile! And they'd be the same price. |

Ahh, you know what i'm sayin'? yeah :) |

|
i consider the beatles rock n roll, not really hard rock...nonetheless, a great band though.
I knew the story (slight memories), I just didn't really know what you were talking about :).

Classic rock usually requires a rockin' solo. So maybe just get your guitarists to practise alot. Then learn an ac/dc song with a medium speed solo or something. |
man the beatles are pop not rock.
Led Zep and AC/DC are rock \m/
The Beatles were pop at first, but they kind of forged their own genre later in their career. |

Sumed it up right there. I don't really care what they are. From start to finish they were brilliant. |

Is there any particular subgenre of classic rock you are interested in?
|
Looks like he's into hard rock.
Don't do a well known ac/dc song and don't go a Brain Johnson one. <my advice. |
