tallica666 - are you a guitarist!!!!

Joe 03-27-2005 02:16 PM

was that sposed to be a question? cuz theres the "are" but all the "!!!!!" 's

yes i am a guitarist. i'm allowed to not like the way something sounds. are you suggesting that because i'm a guitarist i have to like bands that have great guitar like the eagles or vh?

metalcritter666 03-27-2005 02:18 PM

no no no no look right at the bottom of the last page and try it out...

sorry about the !!!!!! - just anxious.

Leper 03-27-2005 02:18 PM

well i dunno about opening up the album but i thought it sounded like a pretty cool song. But then the Lars's dad just immediately shoots it down like he speaks for everyone including the band or something..i dunno, just kinda pissed me off.

speaking of bass solos, cliffs solos in cliff em all are pretty cool.

metalcritter666 03-27-2005 02:35 PM

i meant HMK but w/e.

COOL LITTLE KNOWN FACT
jason's bass solos had my friend of misery...which was actually going to be black album's instrumental, but then jaymz thought it would be better to add lyrics. you can hear the extended bass solo on Live **** san diego/mexico

cliffs solos are cool because they sound like guitar solos. jaymz actually said that in an interview on the MTV icon thing

i haven't heard rob's solos but from what ive heard theyre impressive...

and lars plays guitar too!

ps 18000 posts nearly. quite an achievement
rule metallica

metalcritter666 03-27-2005 02:44 PM

wow (leppermessiah) james plays everything - guitar drums bass vocals...

Whale and Wasp 03-27-2005 02:44 PM

it would be interesting if they all did something where they swapped instruments

Leper 03-27-2005 02:45 PM

i REALLY wonder how that is going to turn out...

metalcritter666 03-27-2005 02:47 PM

theres about a billion rumours going around, a lot of them on this forum that they be returning to their early 90s black album sound. :thumb: :D

heavy metal kid 03-27-2005 02:49 PM

it were rumors about enter sandman II and recyclee old songs

metalcritter666 03-27-2005 02:53 PM

they should do an OUTLAW TORN II. that song seems...unfinished.

Whale and Wasp 03-27-2005 02:56 PM
theres about a billion rumours going around, a lot of them on this forum that they be returning to their early 90s black album sound. :thumb: :D
well that would be rather good :D
to me, pink floyd and metallica do not seem to mix...

metalcritter666 03-27-2005 02:58 PM

Joe 03-27-2005 02:59 PM

there have been tons of RUMORS

Whale and Wasp 03-27-2005 03:00 PM
speaking of bass solos, cliffs solos in cliff em all are pretty cool.
Cliff was the one to start the trend of Metallica's bass solos. Without him we wouldn't have had the memorable "Pulling Teeth",now would we? Suprised no-one else has quoted on that on yet!

metalcritter666 03-27-2005 03:06 PM

seriously? its 10 minutes long!

heavy metal kid 03-27-2005 03:09 PM
seriously? its 10 minutes long!
heavy metal kid 03-27-2005 03:13 PM

cliff was like the beethoven of bass, without him probably we dont have fade to black, master of puppets and orion as we know them.

metalcritter666 03-27-2005 03:14 PM

without cliff we probably wouldn't have RTL or KEA for that matter!

Everyone - start posting like mad.
