That's what I'm experiencing too. While all the fags that go to my school play Jaco and whatnot I'm stuck learning modes because I don't practice enough.

I used to practice my drums maybe a few hours a week... now I play from until I get home to when I decide to respect the neighbors.

And when I do go inside, I never get around to practicing guitar or piano.

The moral of the story is... *leaves*

Yeah, I'm working on modes and theory too. My school is lame, I suck at guitar (imo), yet I still manage to be better than almost everybody who says that they own at guitar. I really want to get better, and I think the internet is keeping me from it.

I did get into a band recently, so hopefully that will motivate me to practice more. :)

My theory teacher is a really intense classical guy named Erbie Ingersoll. He has us playing scales like a drill instructor.

If we're referring to Elvenefris then I agree. They blend so many genres together yet still have a very unique and distinct sound. Somewhat in the ballpark of Opeth, but not the same. Fantastic musicianship as well.

Just to spark some coversation, what kind of car does everyone have? I have an '04 Chevrolet Cavalier, 2-door, manual trans. Its slow, only a 4 cyl, but its a fun car.

Those XR6 Turbo's are nice though. I drove one of them a month or two back. :cool:

My friend has a XR8 in deep blue that he bought for 15,000 of his dad (who is a mechanic and fixed it up after a crash).

There is an awesome black Chevy truck in town here. I have no idea what model or anything it is though.

I have to admit, the only good looking kind of Valiant is a black Charger. Otherwise, :thumbsdown:
