I bet in person Tyler would be the most respectful person ever, on a count of him weighing 65lbs.
New WITTR is pretty good guys

That's the new Thesyre "Resistance" cover. I think Eric Syre and I are planning an interview for Sputnik. \m/
lol drudkh is pretty gay, not gonna lie
Autumn Aurora seems to me like something you'd grow to like quite a bit, but ah well.

Txus 01-28-2009 06:22 PM

Austin has never heard a Drudkh song.

Silenius 01-28-2009 06:25 PM

Forgotten Legends and Autumn Aurora are legit. The rest is debatable.

Stormrider 01-28-2009 06:26 PM

Yeah, I love those two albums. Only other album I've heard is The Swan Road and it's alright.

Txus 01-28-2009 06:29 PM

Blood in our wells is the best.

plz ask why he chose such a shitty cover

Nostalgia 01-28-2009 06:40 PM

The cover will be better once it's laid out. I kind of like it like that - it's just the eagle in the wheel plastered over a dead TV channel.

Mike: wtf fag, i've heard almost every drudkh album made

EDIT: I do like the song Furrows of Gods, though.

Txus 01-28-2009 06:43 PM

At least you like their best song, fag.

Omg, black metal Lulz

rasputin 01-29-2009 02:06 AM

Can I have some recs along the lines of Nachtfalke, Moonblood and Vlad Tepes/Belketre?

Also, does anyone know which Absurd album is the best to start with?

Nostalgia 01-29-2009 02:34 AM

There's not too many bands that sound like Moonblood to me - he has that raw, un-produced feel but still maintaining a very epic side to his sound that really isn't common in a lot of black metal.

I'd check out the other good LLN bands: Seviss, Vermyapre Kommando, etc.

I was never into Absurd, but a lot of people like Thuringian Pagan Madness.

Tyler 01-29-2009 02:37 AM

Seviss is so surprisingly awesome. I still owe Stevie for that recommendation.

Try Andras, Occulta Mors from Nachtfalke and Moonblood used to be in that band. Also check out Cabaret for Bereaved (good luck finding it).

rasputin 01-29-2009 02:49 AM

ok cool I'll check out those two bands. you're right about Moonblood too, really unique sound. I've been trying to find bands in that vein, and similar to Nachtfalke, but I don't think there's that many.

thanks, i'll look into those too

RetiredAt21 01-29-2009 11:26 AM

Moonblood is good but the keys just sound so over the top sometimes.

Stormrider 01-29-2009 01:51 PM

Austin, I'm pretty sure I remember you saying you had only heard like two Drudkh albums :-/ ...was a while back, though
Seviss is so surprisingly awesome. I still owe Stevie for that recommendation.
Actually, I'm pretty sure it was Deathcrush.

RiceMonster 01-29-2009 02:00 PM

Best Drudkh is Autumn Aurora. Everything after Blood in Our Wells sucks.

Niflheim II 01-29-2009 02:01 PM

Lucifigum sounds like Moonblood I think I dunno

Silenius 01-29-2009 02:53 PM

Yeah the older Lucifugum demos would be worth a go.

Niflheim II 01-29-2009 02:55 PM

I heard one album I think, thought it was ok back then but stopped listenin once I found out girl is in band

Silenius 01-29-2009 02:57 PM

Yeah I think it's a married couple in that band hahaha.

RetiredAt21 01-29-2009 02:58 PM

Must suck when she has her period.

rasputin 01-29-2009 08:18 PM

RetiredAt21 01-29-2009 09:05 PM

Yeah, **** fake blood. Smelly period blut ist krieg.

lol

rasputin 01-31-2009 10:53 AM

So Seviss and Basilisk are v. good

Angmar 01-31-2009 10:57 AM

Basilisk are worthy of many heils, Seviss are cool but I'm not a fan of their vocals, unlike Basilisk who have amazing vocals.

rasputin 01-31-2009 11:02 AM

I'm listening to Seviss right now, yeah I'd have to say I like Basilisk's more but would definitely not say Seviss' vocals are bad

Angmar 01-31-2009 11:06 AM

I'll listen to them again now, I just remember them being kind of airy and weak sounding.

hismajestythepope 01-31-2009 11:08 AM

Basilisk's vocals seriously influenced me so hard.

rasputin 01-31-2009 11:08 AM
