He was 9. He developed some spinal disease and lost all the feeling in his back half. We didn't have the money for the operation, and even if we did he wouldn't be able to really get around all too much, anyways.

So it was for the best, I suppose.

Our dog had to be put to sleep too, in January. I was at college at the time so I didn't get to see him again.
