i hope the new veil of maya is good, that preview sounded pretty generic

it sounded like the obvious intro to an album. which for a dxc band of any kind is about as generic as it gets

something tells me it will be good. their last was pretty underwhelming so i think they'll come back a bit better. how much is yet to be seen, they release a new song on tuesday

they haven't been that cool since their first album, they have cool riffs here and there but for the most part its really boring.

i thought their second album was pretty meh. id wasn't too bad. dark passenger and namaste were killer

periphery has a gay singer but really fucking phenominal drummer and interesting guitar stuff where VoM is like... lots of useless chugging and clashy chords.

their guitar player's really nice though, he watched my band play when we played with them and sat and chatted with us and stuff.

Middle of All Things Set Aside = their best material, Sever The Voices, Black Funeral March, and It's Torn Away go hard, the last song on [id] is the best song on the album. :)
