^true, that'd be fun. on all the live albums james doesn't need to sing as much as normal

led_zep_luvr 02-09-2005 04:41 PM

maybe even call of ktulu on guitar

JH LU KH RT 02-09-2005 05:17 PM

No question

CREEPING DEATH!!!!!

Imagine playing the DIE DIE part. Wow that would own.

Second choice would have to be MOP or maybe Damage Inc, that song is nice and fast!

Huber 02-09-2005 05:25 PM

For me it'd be ...and justice for all on drums, and without a doubt MoP on guitar.

Huber 02-09-2005 05:26 PM

I have a question. It might sound stupid but whatever.

I have this random memory of Metallica doing a performance of songs from the year at an award show of some sort. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Master Of Nebulah Frost 02-09-2005 05:43 PM

The Mtv VMA's or something like that, performing 'Enter Sandman'?

JH LU KH RT 02-09-2005 06:30 PM

Aight question for every1....

What MEtallica song pumps you up the most, to either just headbang, play a sport or do whatever.

For me it would have to be-

Creeping Death
MOP
Damage INc

Creeping Death
Ride the Lightning
Master of Puppets

Basically the same as you, except RTL instead of Damage Inc.

ArcLite 02-09-2005 07:36 PM

MOP or Blackened, good headbanging songs.

led_zep_luvr 02-09-2005 07:54 PM

we should have a "guess that tab" game here but with all metallica songs, but don't post obvious ones like

e|-------------------------------------------|
B|-------------------------------------------|
G|---------------------------------------0---|
D|---4---0-----4---0-----4---0-----4---0-----|
A|-2---2---------------2---2-----------------|
E|-----------3---3---------------3---3-------|

make it a bit harder like this

------5-----5-----|
------5-----5-----|
------3-----3-----|
---------3------3--|

vashts80 02-09-2005 07:55 PM

Blackened, Bellz, Whiplash and Creeping Death...oh, Battery and RTL too, with MOP thrown in.

led_zep_luvr 02-09-2005 07:55 PM

maybe not, probably wont work

It was the 2003 VMA's. They played a medley of songs from Nirvana, White Stripes, and Michael Jackson I think.

KillemAllforOne83 02-09-2005 08:14 PM

they also played some Lenny Kravitz song.

CreepingDeath~ 02-09-2005 08:16 PM

That would of been pretty interesting to watch...

Btw: what nirvana songs did they play?

guitarcreep13 02-09-2005 09:44 PM

Name this Metallica song!

led_zep_luvr 02-09-2005 09:46 PM

just put my guitar away :upset:

Huber 02-09-2005 09:48 PM

Metallica that pumps me up?

Has to be between MoP, Blackened, Battery, or Trapped Under Ice.

I have a terrible time picking between Metallica songs when it comes to almost anything.

guitarcreep13 02-09-2005 09:48 PM

it's alright

Leper 02-09-2005 09:59 PM

I have a question that doesn't exactly have to do with metallica, but rather something many metallica fans have been accused of:

What's the difference between a Hardcore fan and a fanboy? Im quite tired of seeing obvious Metallica fans being flamed on this forum, seemingly just because we are fans.

guitarcreep13 02-09-2005 10:02 PM

(This is a guess)
hardcore is metallica all the way. you like know every song and it's lyrics.
fanboys just likes some numbers

Huber 02-09-2005 10:08 PM

I'd say the Hardcore Fan is someone who just downright loves the band.

A fan boy is someone with a closed mind and will choose something simply because it is [insert band here] related. For instance those album polls. A fan boy would simply vote for AJFA because he loves Metallica, and wouldn't even bother to give The Wall, or Lateralus a listen.

CreepingDeath~ 02-09-2005 10:12 PM

Yeah and if some one just questions the band they like, they explode (I think)

led_zep_luvr 02-09-2005 10:13 PM

i voted for AJFA just cuz it was metallica :upset:

metal_milita 02-09-2005 10:20 PM

1st tab=One
2nd tab= Four Horsemen? Can't really tell by the way its posted.

If I had to perform 4 Metallica songs
These would be the ones I wish I could play (meaning I don't have it down %100) yet
1) Creeping Death
2) RTL
3) Four Horsemen
4) Dyers Eve
(I'm refraining from using over used songs like Fade To Black/MOP)

Songs I probably WOULD play because I know them
1) Nem
2) FWTBT
3) One
4) MOP

Huber 02-09-2005 10:32 PM
i voted for AJFA just cuz it was metallica :upset:
That's understandable if you don't like Floyd (I don't), or Tool.

AimlessDave 02-09-2005 10:36 PM

Fanboys seem to like Metallica and only Metallica. They won't listen to anything else, because it isn't Metallica.
Hardcore fans just love Metallica, but are less closed-minded than fanboys, I think.
