Angmar, you shouldn't desire to upgrade. The music I listen to has an inbuilt fag filter, meaning that people like you can't listen to it anyway. Maybe you should stick to progressing through your deathcore phase, your tech death phase, your progressive death phase, your brutal death phase, your slam death phase and then finally your Morbid Angel phase before you learn how to appreciate the genre.

Malfeitor's just being picky. There's nothing really wrong with old Swedish dm, but a lot of bands definitely sound pretty similar so it can get boring fairly quickly. Therion's early stuff is some of the best that I've heard.

I've still yet to hear the death metal era of Therion. I'll go grab some now.

[I]Beyond Sanctorum[/I] and [I]Of Darkness[/I] are both great albums. Even their first non-DM album [I]Lepaca Kliffoth[/I] is still relatively heavy.

I can't help that a certain style of music doesn't appeal to me. I don't like it because it seems too happy and I just don't like it. What more can I say. Also, it's all been repeated a million times.
