AJFA must win
i know some of you have other accounts log in and vote for AJFA i want it to win so bad
If only the bass was better on that album, then I would. I might anyway though. |
The bass thing is made too big of an issue. Its bad, but the album is still the best representation of Metal i have heard yet
|
i didn't really notice the lack of bass until people mentioned it hear but it doesn't matter to me that much
|

I think their albums before that were better. I don't try to make a big deal of the bass. I just don't like the fact that it's lacking it, because it could have been so much better. That said, Blackened owns. |
I Wonder what AJFA would sound like with bass.....
|
it wouldn't sound that much different
|
okay i know im new and all but can i make a topic change? whats ur favorie album?
i cant realy decide i like prety much all of them but i just cant get into the stanger cd no matter how hard i try it feels like somethings lacking i think rob (new bassist) is better suited for old metallica |

I really like St. Anger, even though the majority of Metallica fans hate it. Also, Rob never played on St. anger, if you meant something is lacking on St. Anger because of the bass. |

Ok I see what you mean now

does neone think rob will have an effect on where metallica is going?
but do u think he will change them for better or worse?
I doubt it. Most people say it's good, so I wouldn't mind if he does have an effect on their next album.
g'night everyone.
Peace. |
of all the songs you can play by metallica, what would you choose if you had the chance to play it on a stage with the guys with 20 000 fans watching?
fade to black cos im a bassist and theres less chance i would muff it up, and i could cruise around a bit hey |
id have to say master of puppets or creeping death
|
Master of Puppets or Blackened I would very much enjoy laying down on stage. MOP would probably be the best crowd pleaser.
|
fade to black

For Whom The Bell Tolls on drums...
with custom double bass drum fills :) |
I would play rhythm guitar and sing "Battery" a la James. There's no way I can play those solos, though.
Battery = one of their best |
For whom the bells toll on bass (only song I know)
|
'bells' on the drums (one of the only ones i know)
|
Mother ****ing Ride the Lightning fools! How could you get a song with more energy? Besides Fight Fire with Fire, but my legs would fall off playing double bass that fast. And I like Ride the Lightnings interlude. That song is awesome!
|
i would choose one

I think Master of Puppets would be fun because you wouldn't need to do any singing and it's got an great solo
