AHHHHHHHHHHHH! Stupid people a couple houses from us! Them hippity hoppers(I can't say that outloud, because that means most people here) are blastin' the horrendous crap known as Raggaeton. How can they're eardrums not shatter? Its soooooooo loud. We gotta move out o' Florida soon:lol: .

Win A Rabbit 11-09-2005 04:44 PM

dang. i forgot my grandpa was coming to stay with us, and he's here now. he'll be here for a few months too. he's staying here because he has to get alot of chemo done. but that means alot less drumming time for me. looks like i'll be working my pad fairly constantly for the next few months.

oh, i feel like bringing back the "song you're currently listening to" thing we had going on a while back.

oasis - champagne supernova.

Trev 11-09-2005 04:47 PM

Pink Floyd - Sorrow.

g'day boys and girls and pron-spammers..

currently listening to: kelly clarkson- since u been gone

Trev 11-09-2005 05:15 PM

Rainbow's Since You've Been Gone > Kelly Clarkson's Since You've Been Gone.

I haven't heard the other version, but Since You've Been Gone (rainbow) just slays everything.

Edit - Now playing Rainbow - Since You've Been Gone

Aaron 11-09-2005 05:17 PM

poppinfresh 11-09-2005 05:46 PM

i usually dont listen to loud music so i cant answer this quesion myself. I got in my friends car and he starts balsting this emo bull****. And its really loud. ANd now my right ear sucks more than my left, like it sounds like im covering my ear. Does this go away.

I love emo lyrics-"slit my wrists and blacken my eyes" dont know what song that is but i couldnt stop laughing once i heard that.
That sucks sic. Where do work exactly anyway?
sbarro, at the airport. starting wage is $10 an hour, and i pretty much got to choose my whole schedule. it's really easy too. stretch dough, add toppings, put in oven, take out of oven, cut. say hello to customers, give them a slice of pizza. through that whole process, i stay within a 1 meter radius. making a pizza, stretching and all, takes no more than 3 minutes, and it cooks for 10-15. it's so incredibly easy. pasta is the same thing, so easy to make.

Drum Phil 11-09-2005 05:53 PM

Ive got 14.5Gb

Juicy_Forlorn 11-09-2005 05:57 PM

I only have 6.35 GB. I lose.

Win A Rabbit 11-09-2005 06:00 PM

i have 3 songs on my computer. my dad just restored the computer yesterday in an attempt to get our cd burner working again, to no avail.

Pop singers usually have quite talented studio musicans playing on their albums. I believe Thomas Lang played with a lot of pop artists.
"Ohio Is For Lovers" - Hawthorne Heights
that is, IMO, one of the worst songs to ever be written; its boring musically, and has negative lyrics

Futuro 11-09-2005 07:23 PM

I will do a near perfect rendition of how the vocals are said for that song.

Normal voice/ I cant make it on my OWN!
Cheasy scream/ I Cant make it on MY OWN!

Normal/ Cause Ohio Is For Lovers!
Cheasy/ Cause Ohio Is For Lovers!

Normal/ Cut my wrist and black my eyes!
Cheasy/ Cut my wrist and black my eyes!

...I see a trend^ Horrible cliche Emu writing with even worse singing.

Double Bass Jim 11-09-2005 07:24 PM

shh, i've got a secret, emo sucks jim, spread the word

Futuro 11-09-2005 07:55 PM

The only thing I hate about most emo music is the repeated leads from different bands in different songs.

Near every lead is an octave up from the main riff, Than they play a note, mute it, play the 5th of root, mute it, Than do a few power chords. Ugh and they they act like they are great guitarist.

Before anyone flames Adam Jones of Tool (One of my favorite bands) Yes he is definetly not a great guitarist, but he is more than just there guitar player.

Aaron 11-09-2005 08:06 PM

i give every emo song one play, sometimes theres some talented drummers there.. mostly not though. emo is the new nu-metal
