anyone else looking forward to the holidays being over

no i think its good times all around :)

actually i havent noticed much. i cant believe christmas is so close, it doesnt really feel like the holidays at all. maybe its cause i havent been watching a lot/enough of the TV specials

i already took my finals in my physics and math classes, im just doing some late homework to up the grades.

lol i feel the same way and i havent bought a single gift and i dont think im going to tbh. all everybody is doing is buying all this **** and spending all this money.

i still need to buy gifts. i would feel terrible if i didnt get my dad anything at least. i dont really care about giving stuff to other people, i just want to get something cool for him.

I have a circle of friends which I'm getting gifts. That plus mom + gf

yeah i would like to give my family members/friends meaningful personal gifts but idk i havent been able to come up with anything yet. i should really get my mom something though. i just feel like most of the gifts that are givne are given out of feelings of obligation and that there isnt a lot of thought being put into this holiday anymore.

I always try to find my dad something really good but I always fail because he's the hardest person ever to buy for. Anything you give him just goes into a huge pile of stuff that he never sorts.

Burberry **** is good if she's into that sort of stuff, if not you could always just make a macaronni card or something idk

i always buy my dad books but he never reads them

ugh i hate overpriced designer things. thankfully my mom isnt into that sort of thing idk maybe i will get her a book/make her some cds/make a macaroni card.

I was going to buy my dad the "Final Cut" edition of [i]Blade Runner[/i], because it's his favorite movie, but it's like $30 and I can't afford it...

My dad thought of a new Christmas tradition where after everyone has unwrapped their presents we sit down as a family and watch The Big Lebowski.

I never buy presents for anyone.

yeah, my mom buys a gift for my dad and sister, and puts my name on it, and then i try to pay her back, but she's like "oh no, i can't take your money" and then i feel guilty for not doing anything

I sometimes by little gifts for friends even though they know I dislike christmas, but I haven't had time or any good ideas this year.

My brother and I are putting our money together and getting some really nice gifts for our parents this year, though. He thought of them, though. I can never think of good gifts.

My parents have never used the nice gifts I've gotten them.

i asked my mom what she wanted for christmas and she told me not to buy her anything. so i guess i am going to MAKE something. i think im going to make cds. i bought my sister carrot sticks and ranch dip at the grocery store today so thats her present.

I'm crocheting a hat and scarf for my girlfriend for Christmas. It's kind of a cheap gift for having dated for almost three years, but I'm broke as hell. I'll probably burn her some mix cd's and take her to dinner-and-a-movie as well.
