Even if you don't take into account the smell, the health hazards, and the dirtiness... I wouldn't be too keen on inhaling [i]burning fumes[/i] and pumping them directly into my lungs.

I smoke occasionally and you know I can understand where both sides come from. I mean when I smoke its not like I just have one, one reason that I try not to get addicted is because #1) I LOVE the feeling of smoking it is very relaxing to me and my addiction would be very deep. #2) When I smoke I can smoke the whole pack in one day sometimes two, I know for casual smokers that might not be a lot but I think its a little much for someone who only does it once in a while. In short if I were to get addicted I would piss all my money away on buying multipul new packs a day for an addiction that I wouldn't be able to break. Personally I think smoking is your choice if you are fine with the the negitive sides of it and embrace the positive sides then go ahead. If don't like it don't smoke. I know there is second hand smoke, and its dangerous, but I don't think you inhale anymore dangerous fumes than you would going into one of your major citys.

No it just means I love ciggerets. If I were addicted than I would have to have them. Their absense would become unbearable and I would be buying packs and smoking them. One way I know I'm not addicted is that I happen to know where ciggerets my parents have confiscated from my sister are and I know that I could take one with out them knowing and smoke it now outside with out them waking up, or on the walk to school tomorrow. If I were addicted I would be thinking about taking that ciggeret a lot more than I am now. I admit when I first saw them I was tempted to take one, but I didn't. Either I am able to exersise an extreame ammount of self control or I am not addicted.

I know no one who smokes cigarettes, but pretty much everyone I know gets blunted. Even though girls do it, they don't find it attractive. :p

I mean I smoke because I enjoy it, but I don't really crave ciggerets unless I have had one that day, when I start to crave them then I'll stop buying them. But in the long run I really don't care, the only thing that keeps me from not smoking now is the reason I don't want to get addicted is because I want to sing and play guitar in a band someday and smoking kills your voice. Also I would end up singing out of a hole in my neck one day but aside from those reasons I don't really care.

Yes I know that but I don't really care, the worst that could happen is I would die, and all things must pass eventually I don't fear death its something we all have to go through sooner or latter. I could quit ciggerets then get hit by a bus the next day and the cancer would never even have a chance.

To Pink: Yeah to be totally honest I have been debating weather or not to stop, mostly because I became aware of how much I was smoking. I will quit when I move out of the house this summer because I know it would be far too easy to get and smoke ciggerets as much as I want and I know I would take advantage of this too often. I know that I do smoke too much for my own good and I'm trying not to smoke excessivly on the times that I do smoke anymore.

It just seems like a needless bad habit to me. I've never actually tried a cigarette, but I've tried chewing tobacco, and nicotine buzz just doesn't seem worth all the health risks.

That was a big cigarrette discussion. Just to point out (actually a guy did so as well) that people get cancer not exactly because of the cigarrettes. It's because of a combination of factors including cigarrettes.
