This is major bad ****.

IHeartDisco 07-07-2005 05:14 AM

Here are some comments I and my friends have posted in various places:

7/7/05 - The day of my 18th and when 6 bombs shook London
I waked up thinking this will be an amazing day...it's my 18th and I'm going to see QOTSA tonight in London at Somerset house.....

...then I get a phone call from my Dad who is currently in London......

Explosions in London, presumably terrorist bombs have ripped apart supposedly 3 buses and another 3 on tube trains....

There is police, fire crews, ambulance crews and now the army on the streets of London....

I hope all of you and your family are safe and well and I love you all....

News of whether I go to London with come as soon as I know.

xxx

How can people have done this? How can anyone commit an act like this that they know will hurt so many people. Jesus, I hope no one here has any friends or family caught up in this. Those sick ****ing bastards!! I really want to vomit.

I hope all you are all OK on this scary day for everyone in the UK and that all your family is safe.
As some have put it ' It was not IF London would the target of a terrorist attack, the question was WHEN?'
I hope for you all that you are all OK. I love everyone of you and do not wish to hear any bad news....

Annie says:
tis is the first thing to happen in england isn't it
7/7/05 - The day of my 18th and when 6 bombs shook London says:
yeah, like they said on the news 'it was IF we'd have a terrorist attack, it was when'
Annie says:
and it's horrid because everyone's been on the tubes in london and you take for granted that it's completely safe
Annie says:
but even now, how the hell can they do safety checks? it just isn't possible. not on buses anyway
7/7/05 - The day of my 18th and when 6 bombs shook London says:
well the tube has never been safe...the fires years ago
7/7/05 - The day of my 18th and when 6 bombs shook London says:
yer
7/7/05 - The day of my 18th and when 6 bombs shook London says:
the tube has always been dodgy with faulty tracks rceently and the fires years ago, seriously if we are meant to hold the olympics in tha city they need to sort it out

Life update -

House was hit by lightning last Tuesday, hence my not being on the internet. Killed my modem, phone line, and my TV, and took out a pane of glass in our conservatory.

Spent last night at a barbeque, except there wasn't a barbeque at all. I think he just said that to get people to go. Anyway, I drank far more than I really should have, culminating in me drinking a mate's piss for a dare. Other than that little stunt, I spent most of the night with a girl called Karen, who I latched onto after I quoted Dylan Moran and she recognized it. Plus, she was really hot and all that. For her number and spent about three hours in bed with her, then came home. I danced around in the street with a bottle of Newcastle Brown Ale - I live next to a primary school, which made it funny - then went inside to find my new modem. So all in all a good day so far.

Except bombings and shizzle, but that was kinda predictable.

Sounds like you had a good time....tonight I shall spend it at home as Portsmouth Harbour station is now also closed and I wont be going to see QOTSA in London so this has to be one of the biggest downers for me ever! Last night I was happy as you could tell from my post last night....now I am frustrated and annoyed that on my 18th I shan't be going out and getting shanted but instead be inside like most nights........at least my Dad is safe and on his was home thats all I can say.

Bartender 07-07-2005 08:51 AM

Yeah, my post went away. Glad to see you're not dead, though.

Iai 07-07-2005 08:53 AM

I just looked at my legs and realised I waxed them at another party last week.

Parfait 07-07-2005 10:36 AM

This morning when I woke up my igloo had been replaced with a trough of insect repellant.

pixiesfanyo 07-07-2005 10:59 AM

/isn't very happy.

Parfait 07-07-2005 11:04 AM

Iai only parties so that he can post about it on MX.

JonM 07-07-2005 11:07 AM

Sad!

Robert Crumb 07-07-2005 12:00 PM
I know the real reason, but I'll leave you to ponder.

Good night.
I think I know but if I'm wrong, I'll just feel paranoid and silly.

Parfait 07-07-2005 12:17 PM

Paranoooooia

Iai 07-07-2005 01:08 PM

^Anyone else get the feeling those two might be the same person?

Dog 07-07-2005 01:08 PM

I do now.

JonM 07-07-2005 01:10 PM

So that's why he fit in so well...

Robert Crumb 07-07-2005 01:22 PM

Actually, I thought he was Zappa but now I'm just confused.

Parfait 07-07-2005 01:37 PM

I am Zappa.

Zappa 07-07-2005 01:37 PM

He is Zappa.

Iai 07-07-2005 01:38 PM

I'm Spartacus.

lunch998 07-07-2005 01:43 PM

You drank piss.

Iai 07-07-2005 01:43 PM

This is true.

JonM 07-07-2005 01:49 PM

Oh damn it. It is Zappa. Why am I so gullible? No peros calentes was right when he said I'm in love with the user.

Zappa 07-07-2005 01:50 PM

I like Parfait better.

JonM 07-07-2005 01:52 PM

As a person, a user title, or a dessert? I like it better as a person and a dessert. As titles, they're about even. Zappa is more appropriate, I guess.

Dog 07-07-2005 01:55 PM

I had a parfait from McDonalds once. It was icky.

Zappa 07-07-2005 01:56 PM

I just like using that account better.

I decided that if someone figured it out, or mentioned that this account and Parfait were owned by the same person, I wouldn't deny it. I'm not sure if it took longer than I expected, or not as long. The past couple days Zappa has been reading the mod forum and check up on jazz, and Parfait has pretty much been doing all my posting. Maybe I'll keep it that way?
