i found speakers my neighbor was throwing out.

cleaned em up.
hooked em up.

.
really bad picture. but you get the gist of it.
pretty nice. they sound tons better than the tiny ones i was using before. now that i have both pairs hooked up, the sound is so full.
me and my friends used to go around on the days where people leave their furniture outside for the garbagemen to come pick it up, and we'd load the good stuff into my friend's van, bring them to one of our houses, and then either fix them up and sell them, or trade them for our furniture and sell our old furniture.

was pretty good money, and super simple. and seriously, buying some fabric for like $10 and stapling it onto a couch and then selling the couch for $50+ is a pretty easy way of making money.

So, like, 6 months and a year from now?

I learned not to get my hopes up for anything, especially if its longer than two weeks away.

90% of "cool/fun" things planned that far in advance usually fall through or fail.

fishbulb 04-06-2008 10:14 PM

I usually don't make plans very far in advance.

Chippy569 04-06-2008 10:22 PM

the yellow is from a streetlight, the red from the feet light, the white-blue from the map lights.

red feet anyone?

TTTSNB 04-06-2008 10:29 PM

oliv_da_skinmasher 04-06-2008 10:30 PM

oliv_da_skinmasher 04-06-2008 10:36 PM

Bit broken up haha.

But nice. I'm desperate to have a bike. Need to take a 2nd test and I need to pay for more insurance but so worth it

Chippy569 04-06-2008 10:41 PM

it's a 78 CB550. my dad bought it, rode it cross country for a few years, then let it sit (unwinterized or anything) in the garage for about 18 years (hey that's how old I am!) so I'm restoring it. The carbs need to be redone but i'm not doing that myself, and the front brakes need to be put back together.

oliv_da_skinmasher 04-06-2008 10:43 PM

Cool man. I'd like a project but I really just need the cash to buy anything lol

Chippy569 04-06-2008 10:46 PM

that's life for 'ya.

oliv_da_skinmasher 04-06-2008 10:46 PM

tbh that day there was a birthday party happening at my work and they needed me to come unlock/lock the doors, so i literally just went in to work, put down the chairs, unlocked the door, sat in the office for 3 hours, then locked the doors and left. (notice the party plate in the second picture. they brought me some cake, it was so good.)

an_original_name 04-07-2008 05:50 AM

Might be playing at an open mic night tonight. A mate of mine is playing some stuff on an acoustic guitar and he asked me to bring my cajon along and do a bit of backing vocals as well. Mostly improvised stuff but it should be good fun.
