1984 is a bit too political for Maiden. And plus they've already been there in a sense with Prisoner (although that's from something else, but you know what I mean  ).

I think it'd be cool if it was about the 'end of days'...
That would be amazing...If Maiden did an intire concept album about that, it would no doubt be the best album of all time...
Hey Guys I've been thinking about learnning the trooper. before I
do though is it very hard? I'm pretty sure I can learn it...but you know.

and is there any tab out there that you all would recomend?
So can you help me out?

the_uber_penguin 10-25-2005 02:42 PM

If you have powertabs the version from http://www.powertabs.net is good.

In other news, I ordered DotR DVD from Amazon yesterday, because they said they had it in stock and ready to dispatch.

I got an e-mail today saying they cancelled my order because it's out of stock.

Britton 10-25-2005 03:04 PM

That sucks man

Thanks for the advice!
i don't think so, but Maiden England is on VHS. can't remember what tour it's off though.
I was wondering, Because i think Maiden are one of/the best band to see live. Where would all the video's from the music channels come from?

ashman 10-25-2005 04:10 PM
Have Maiden released any other live DVD's other than Rock in Rio.
I think they released Live After death on DVD and there was one that I saw in HMV, I believe it was the last show Bruce did with Maiden before he left.

classicrockman 10-25-2005 05:35 PM

Does anyone think that Paul Di'Anno is a bit of an ***?

I know that he said that Bruce was a better singer for Maiden...but some of the other stuff that he says is just stupid.

Where'd you get that idea..?
Where'd you get that idea..?
Well...he says stuff like no one can sing "Remember Tommorow" like he can. And that Bruce voice gives off the image of a public school boy...while his is much tougher.

He some cases he's right...but sometimes he's just arrogant.

-The Frank 10-25-2005 09:35 PM

paul is just trying to live off the past. He still thinks he is maidens singer. After maiden he became an EVEN more drug addled alcoholic. He even went on trial for beating his wife. But, from what ive heard now, he is trying to clean up his act, he also turned into a muslim.

classicrockman 10-25-2005 09:38 PM

But I still think that 'Iron Maiden' and 'Killers' are two of best five Maiden albums. Yeah...I guess some people think their **** doesn't stink.

-The Frank 10-25-2005 10:00 PM

same, iron maiden and killers were brilliant. But i think if they were to do another album with dianno they would have been done. Bruce brought something fresh to the table....

smart blockhead 10-25-2005 10:19 PM

Paul is a muslim?

-The Frank 10-25-2005 10:29 PM
