King Crimson is awesome and underappreciated by classic rock fans.

actually im a moron i meant reflection, that synth melody in the beginning, they uisually have a member of the opening band come out and play synth (and percussion) on Triad, (one time it was meshuggah, another time it was dave lombardo and Patton from Fantomas, sweet)

A neighboor of mines who drms pretty well dsnt belive me that there are effects used on the schism drumming. If there are effects used, could someone remind me wat they were cause i dont remeber

I have Red, great record, for those that dont know, Tony Levin, from Liquid Tension Experiment, and Pink Floyd for a little whole, played bass for Crimson at one time, he does on red, and you can hear the 'chapman stick' thingy he uses. He is an amazing musician one of my top 3 bassists. along with Justin and Billy Gould.

there is flanger on a lot of parts, you can tell it on the hihats and snare, you can hear the phase, and of course right before the breakdown after the second chorus where they are doing that polyrhythm, its over everything. If he can't hear it he is deaf.

Lindsay Lohan looks a lot like my sister. It gets really annoying in public. Do people think it's smart to lean over my shoulder and say "Hey man, you're sister is hot."

It just isn't smart.

So yeah. I heard the No Quarter cover a few days ago for the first time. It's awesome, and makes me sad that I can't buy Salival easily. They better reissue it someday.

Anyways, since one of my cables is on the fritz, I took my effects processor out of my rig(lol, sounds complicated) so I'm playing straight into my Ibanez 10 watt. I then cranked up my overdrive and volume to 11, yes, 11. I had an empty house, so I did some jamming to Part of Me, Ticks and Leeches(minus the segue, since it's gay) and Lateralus. Lateralus was amazing to play just balls out with no effects. I forgot how fun something simple can really be. On the second solo, since it's just pure wah wah, I did quite a bit of improv. A little tapping, some other legato stuff. It was quite a grand time. Most fun I've had playing guitar since I started learning Tool songs. :p
