looks good, i'll check it out when I get the chance.
I'm going to see themmmmmmm
If the rest of their material is this energetic and they haven't aged badly should be a good live show. |
youve always been my favorite witch, meatplow.
its not straight up industrial though be warned. its a lot more rock/punk industrial than like, EBM or something. |
just doing what I do
|
i wish people didn't so instantly associate industrial with EBM.
I mean, when I hear the word industrial I still think of first-wave sonic experiments |
i wish people didn't so instantly associate industrial with EBM.
I mean, when I hear the word industrial I still think of first-wave sonic experiments
i wish the same thing because truth be told i really dont like ebm at all in fact like, most industrial i dont like lol i kinda got hamstringed into being an industrial musician cuz of my vocal style i guess i use a lot of distortion and people are like omg industrial so it kinda went from there but in reality i use distortion more because of influences like DEP and mike patton, not crappy ebm music where the singer whispers into a fuzz pedal |
most people I know associate it entirely with industrial metal, or at the very worst nu-metal
it's kind of annoying but I expect that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAS_wmiYTzE alex tell me this is not awesome |
the only really dedicated industrial artists i listen to are NIN, skinny puppy, combichrist, marilyn manson, deathstars, samael, rammstein, and...maybe a few others
and the funny thing is none of those bands are industrial first, its always like...black metal industrial, or rock industrial, etc |

I thought that might be the case somehow.
the only really dedicated industrial artists i listen to are NIN, skinny puppy, combichrist, marilyn manson, deathstars, samael, rammstein, and...maybe a few others and the funny thing is none of those bands are industrial first, its always like...black metal industrial, or rock industrial, etc
do you listen to much first wave? it's all we pretty much talk about in here |

it's all we pretty much talk about in here
we often deviate into talking about glitch and ambient then im like no guys let's discuss deviant firstwave artists |
am i crazy for considering lady gaga an industrial artist?
discuss |
She's not industrial but she's a ****ing genius.
I came home a little bit drunk last night and just blasted Lady Gaga and Pink and Yellow for like two hours, felt so good |
we are all gaga fans in here idk
lol thats a classic song mp naut from mx wanted to get "muscle and hate" tattoo'd on his back for the longest time i wonder if he did that yet
nice |
nah dude shes industrial
she even has ebm moments like totally its not dance music cuz its too dark in tonality so industrial it is i cant be convinced otherwise |
in all fairness i've never listened to the Fame Monster
|
and im a huge gaga fan i wanna see her live i hear its a good time
|
i want to beat her up
|
lol im kind of disappointed the rumors about her having a penis were never even remotely believable

I can roll with that.

haha yep
I need to get this Front 242 album |
I personally do not see the big deal with Lady Gaga.
|
Flannel wearing individuals who like to drink mead typically don't like Lady Gaga.
|
You are right. Usually we are men.
|
I can listen to a couple of Gaga songs but I really can't sit through a whole album. It's impossible to listen to that **** for so long.
|
Have you ever listened to The Fame all the way though ?
You really can't appreciate her without hearing the whole statement at least once or twice. |
Yeah, I have. Couldn't really finish it.
|
I admit that her songs are pretty catchy, but after 2 songs they sort of blend together.
|
That's basically what I said, Ron.
