Zappa 12-03-2006 02:02 AM

On record or in concert. 20-30 minutes of digable concert experience is certainly worth $7.

pixiesfanyo 12-03-2006 02:14 AM

Any "pro" band concert is worth seven dollars.

Kayetan 12-03-2006 02:31 AM

I was listening to a recording. I wouldn't mind seeing them for $7 though.

bleep_bloop 12-03-2006 03:10 AM

yeah i would see them for seven dollars. i saw tim ruttuli live and he is amazing so im assuming him plus the rest of califone would be even better.

Kayetan 12-03-2006 03:15 AM

It's not as cool as a free concert though. I saw Mount Eerie, D+, Karl Blau and Calvin Johnson for free. :) I still haven't figured out why that concert was free. I think they were just being nice or something.

Zmev 12-03-2006 03:54 AM

Ween did a live concert and recorded a CD from it.

Kayetan 12-03-2006 03:02 PM

I think many artists have done that.
Another cool eBay thing: http://cgi.ebay.com/VELVET-UNDERGROUND-NICO-1966-Acetate-LP-ANDY-WARHOL_W0QQitemZ300054910309QQihZ020QQcategoryZ306QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Holy shit. The last time I looked at that it was 35K, now it's 100K and it still has 5 days left. That was the best 75¢ ever spent.
Sounds good, Jon. Any recordings yet?
We're going down to NYC in January to record. You best believe I'll be whoring those tracks when I get back.

Hell yeah, I'm down.

Kayetan 12-03-2006 05:25 PM

ATM 12-03-2006 06:04 PM

I Was A Kaleidoscope 12-03-2006 06:57 PM

_Mote_ 12-03-2006 07:01 PM

What is love, and what is hate? And why does it matter?

pixiesfanyo 12-03-2006 07:02 PM

Get hit by a bus, please.

_Mote_ 12-03-2006 07:06 PM

Are you a hypnotist??

bleep_bloop 12-03-2006 08:13 PM

i just noticed that 3/5 of the genres on my profile pie graph are post-something. strange.

maybe because im a post-modern child

pixiesfanyo 12-03-2006 08:15 PM

I went to a Zaireeka show last night.

Eliminator 12-03-2006 08:18 PM

Happymeal 12-03-2006 10:46 PM

Sucks for you.

pikester 12-04-2006 02:03 AM

So I'm seeing Joanna Newsom on Tuesday.

I think that it should be awesome.

Kayetan 12-04-2006 02:04 AM

I missed her in Columbus about 2 months ago.

Have fun though.

pikester 12-04-2006 02:06 AM

It better be awesome for how much time/hassle I spent refreshing craigslist to try and find tickets after it sold out the day before we were going to buy them.

Electronic Wolf 12-04-2006 02:15 AM

Tomorrow I start pilates.

bleep_bloop 12-04-2006 02:30 AM

Tomorrow I go to school.

Kayetan 12-04-2006 02:31 AM

Today I go to school.
It better be awesome for how much time/hassle I spent refreshing craigslist to try and find tickets after it sold out the day before we were going to buy them.
I honestly can't imagine it will be really amazing, but I'm sure it won't be a bad show.

bleep_bloop 12-04-2006 02:35 AM

Yeah, Johanna and her harp can't be too exciting

Eliminator 12-04-2006 06:22 AM

yes it can

woah, where's she playing?

Electronic Wolf 12-04-2006 10:08 AM

I don't like her voice.

Iai 12-04-2006 10:21 AM

I'm finding the Joanna Newsom love very hard to understand.

ATM 12-04-2006 10:22 AM

Same here. I already deleted her album.

Iai 12-04-2006 10:25 AM

I'll probably keep it, but I'll be surprised if I listen to it more than one more time.

Glitterati 12-04-2006 11:04 AM

hey dmd

you were saying t'other day you wanted to see a picture of me to judge if i was unattractive as i always said i was.

well, here goes nothing:

Bukowski 12-04-2006 11:19 AM

You're exaggerating, you are not unattractive. Getting contacts may not be a bad idea though methinks.

I crashed during my driving lesson today (minor crash but still), and now I've got a soccer match in the swirling wind and rain tonight. Life rules!

Traversing 12-04-2006 11:36 AM

That seems like it'd be the ONLY way to play soccer

AlienEater 12-04-2006 11:55 AM

Soccer's pretty boring.

StaticSynth 12-04-2006 12:53 PM

I really like Joanna Newsom. I find her voice to be a rather charming fit for the style of music and I also find her lyrical style to be noteworthy. Milk-Eyed Mender is a genuinely nice folk-pop album. And Ys is an exceptional marriage of traditional folk with the compositional scope of classical music.

It's a shame she played at my University when I hadn't gotten around to hearing Milk-Eyed Mender yet. I'm still kicking myself for missing that show. Especially since my Uni rarely books any good shows.

You're just a dude. I imagined you to have like horrible deformities and skin hanging off of your face in a really gross manner. You're just a dude.
