yeah their good, but i didn't like the killers album that much though
Quiet honestly, there isn't a Maiden album that I dislike. There are some songs on the albums that I don't think are that great, but I couldn't say I disliked any Iron Maiden album. Although if I had to it would be X-Factor, because it has the most amount of songs I think aren't that great on. Plus it isn't Bruce.
Peice of Mind, Powerslave, 7th son. Fear of the Dark is one of their least better albums, but fear of the dark its-self is one of the best songs by Maiden. If you look at the album, there are none other really good songs on it.
Nah I like the Fear Of The Dark album...true it's not as good as the 80's stuff but still some fine songs ala Judas Be My Guide, Chains Of Misery, Weekend Warrior and Afraid To Shoot Strangers. A lot of excellent Bruce vocals in that particular album too.

Hell yeh it's all good, hey my fave Maiden song is even The Lonliness Of The Long Distance Runner, wouldn't say many others would choose that one if they had to choose a fave.

Yes, i fall into that category! My favourite is Flight of Icarus or Can I Play With Madness. Don't know why, and there are alot to choose from, but to me, they stand out.

Flight Of Icarus would be in my top 5, just for the chorus, it's just so uplifting. :)

mr snrub 08-15-2004 02:21 PM

Yeah, that is true. I've heard some people say it puts them off flying on planes, can't understand why though...

YDload 08-15-2004 02:26 PM

Flight of Icarus is what MAKES flying on an airplane for me. It's that much more "uplifting" when you listen to the chorus as you're in the air.

Armor O'Malley 08-15-2004 02:27 PM
Yeah, that is true. I've heard some people say it puts them off flying on planes, can't understand why though...
Maybe they'd rather spread their wings and fly like an eagle instead?

mr snrub 08-15-2004 02:27 PM

exactly, I can't understand anything negative about it.

mr snrub 08-15-2004 02:27 PM
Maybe they'd rather spread their wings and fly like an eagle instead?
possibly, but I doubt it somehow...

Armor O'Malley 08-15-2004 02:29 PM

Well some people are strange. :)

mr snrub 08-15-2004 02:36 PM

That is very true.

I convinced my band to learn Fear of the Dark finally :D They started learning their parts today and me and the rythem guitarist already know our parts. We plan on learning it and saving it to close up our next Battle of the Bands with.

Besides that I really just wanted to save this thread and it took me forever to find it again.
