find the slayer thread, then click the number of posts in the whole thread, I beleive this one has like 1,722 or something like that, then once you click it it will show all of the people that have posted and the number of times they have.

Interesting Slayer fact: Both Rick Rubin and Tom araya's wife are jewish.
|
maybe an inspiration for angel of death?
|
lol. On a serious point though Angel of death is about head SS doctor at Aushcwitz called Josef Mengele. He did some seriously ****ed up experiments on kids, women and he favoured twins (he tried to sew them togethr). He was nicknamed 'Angel of death', hence the song name.
|
But the song angel of death was really anti-semetic, they basicley explained what happend at Auschwitz, and DR. Mengles expeirements.
|
yeah that's why i'm wondering.

Yeah, they were trying to sew two heads onto one body and gross sh*t like that. On the subject of Nazi's, I just bought Bloodrayne for xbox, love killing those nazi's while listening to Slayer's Angel of Death. :thumb: |

I think so. Yeah, I just love killing nazi's while slayer is singing about nazi's killing others. Oh, the irony. |
Butcher... it's not YSI that is doing the license thing. It's Windows Media Player's fault.
Is there any chance that someone else might be able to upload it for me, since Butcher won't be able to? It'd be GREATLY appreciated... |
Interesting Slayer fact: Both Rick Rubin and Tom araya's wife are jewish.
I was always told that Jeff was Jewish or atleast grew up in a Jewish family. |

I'll try to get it later. I won't have time to do crap like that until Wednesday though. Maybe you could request it in the R&M request thread? I'm sure you could get it sooner. Sorry but I have a lot of work and school and the whole thing with me auditioning ppl for my band. It takes up all of my free time. |

From the Slayer.net Q&A section
Question: I was curious why do you prefer the khaler tremlo system over the floyd rose? Also why did you decide to endorse ESP when your main guitar was the Jackson? I'm sure Jackson would have gladly given you an endorsement complete with a signature Jackson Soloist by the way you kick ***! Haha, Floyd's trems rule. Jackson is way better the B.C to, the lower B.C model are absolutley horendous IMO, when you get into the NJ series their not too bad.

Yes, I do like my Floyd but it is a pain in the ***. I've never heard of Khaler. I might have to check one those out and see if they are better than Floyd Rose. |
Damn, I haven't played a khaler but look...

Just to clear up the whole 'Angel of Death' matter SLAYER ARE NOT AND NEVER HAVE BEEN NEO-NAZIS THEMSELVES. To add to the fact listings Jeff's dad fought in Normandy (U.S. army)
Random: I think a better thread name would be "Thread ensemble". |

I've never played on a Kahler trem system before but It looks a lot like a floyd to me.
Haha, Floyd's trems rule. Hmmm.....well I've played on both and I'd say the paul plays a lot better but that's just my opinion. (plus they both had a fixed bridge. If the NJ had a floyd, I'd have just bought that instead) Also, Jeff started with a Les Paul anyways right? |

Slayersaves has updated with another concert. |

Yeah, this dipshit chick that I knew thought both Slayer and Kreator were racist. It was ridculous
|
Amazing band.

Probably because Kreator is German right? Still that's a stupid assumption. |
Ignorance = ****.
People need to be re-educated when it comes to the fact of it XD |
Probably because Kreator is German right? Still that's a stupid assumption.
I told her to read the lyrics to the song "All of the Same Blood" and the lyrics to "Europe After the Rain" to prove that they were in fact AGAINST facism. I have a live video of Mille screaming "fuck the facists, fuck the facists!". It's great |
and People Of The Lie.
|
and People Of The Lie.
Ahhh, yes, how could I forget. The only song they played of Coma of Souls live when I saw them  |
Not even Terror Zone?!?
|
Nope, just People of the Lie. I plan on seeing them again in March. I hope they have a better setlist then. I want to hear stuff like "Mental Slavery"
|
hhmm, maybe someone should start a Kreator thread then?
What was Slayer's set at donnington (download) 2005? |
I'm sure you could google it and find out
|
hhmm, maybe someone should start a Kreator thread then?
What was Slayer's set at donnington (download) 2005?
There is a Kreator thread, it's small but it pops up every now and then. And yeah Slayer were there. From Slayersaves tourdates. Under 2004 European dates.
June 06 Donington, England Download Festival
|
hhmm, maybe someone should start a Kreator thread then?
What was Slayer's set at donnington (download) 2005?
Hmmm if my memory serves me correctly it was something like: South Of Heaven Disciple Blood Red Mandatory Suicide War Ensemble Seasons In The Abyss Dead Skin Mask Postmortem Raining Blood Angel Of Death I might be forgetting some, and I'm not 100% about the order, but all of those were played. I was at Download in 04 as well but missed Slayer due to them changing stage. :upset: |
South Of Heaven Disciple Blood Red Mandatory Suicide War Ensemble Seasons In The Abyss Dead Skin Mask Postmortem Raining Blood Angel Of Death I was at Download in 04 as well but missed Slayer due to them changing stage. :upset:
Did you atleast hear them play or something? That's about the length of playlist from when I saw them. I know the first songs they played were Disciple then Stain of Mind. Then in no perticular order: Dead Skin Mask Chemical Warfare Angel of Death Seasons in the Abyss South of Heaven War Ensemble Bloodline Mandatory Suicide Postmortem Raining Blood Postmortem and Raining Blood were the last 2 songs. |
Did you atleast hear them play or something?
Do you mean in 04? Well they changed stage and time so they were headlining the 2nd stage, but Metallica were headlining the main stage, so I wanted to make sure I got a good spot for them (they were my favourite band at the time). But it turned out that was the day that Lars didn't play with the band, so there was a huge delay in them coming on. And the first two songs they played with Dave Lombardo as well. So it turned out I could have watched both sets. Oh well, I've got to see Slayer twice since, so I can't complain too much :D |
I have seen slayer 0, so...I can complain.
|
i want to see Slayer live so bad
