I've been good too though >.< my posting quality has been improving quite a bit lately... but yeah Robbie is right, definitely pick up Frost if you get a chance. If you enjoyed Isa, you should get Ruun as well... Ruun doesn't have as many weird/boring parts to it. It's a lot catchier and better.

Below the Lights is also an amazing album. As Fire Swept Clean the Earth is such a great song.

SymbolicActs (how surprising, right?)
Lol, whore.
Barathrum anyone?
Jetblack EP is good, really evil sounding. I need to check further into them though.

lol@their M-A pic though, cheezy as ****
Lol, whore.
I know :(

Invicta_Veritas 10-16-2007 09:00 PM
well not hideous ones.
You're making the generalization that BM shirts are hideous then, in which case I must staunchly disagree.

Tyler 10-16-2007 09:01 PM

Prove me wrong. I've never seen a metal shirt, let alone a black metal one, that wasn't hideous.

Invicta_Veritas 10-16-2007 09:03 PM

I have to go, but I will say that hideous is not a bad thing. That's kinda the appeal of a lot of black/death metal merch.

NemesisDivina 10-16-2007 09:03 PM

I gots to get me a Burzum shirt. I'm thinking about the Runes one.

Fagbag.

rattlehead42147 10-16-2007 09:04 PM

wow you guys really cared enough to continue to talk about this for this long. i applaud the effort.
http://www.fearshop.com/view-product.asp?productID=204
it looks like that. will that end the discussion?

Tyler 10-16-2007 09:05 PM

yeah see that's tacky.

it's not my fault you guys got all offended that i think metal shirts are fugly. if it helps i think most metal fans are equally hideous.

gmoneyguy 10-16-2007 09:05 PM

I have to agree metal shirts are pretty ugly.

rattlehead42147 10-16-2007 09:08 PM

the back could be cooler but whatever. actually burzum shirts are cool i think.

@Matt
i own the Hvis shirt, and Stevo has the Det Som one so looks like those two are off limits for you. :)

NemesisDivina 10-16-2007 09:12 PM

I think I'll get the one with just the logo on the front and the Misanthropy Records skull on the back like this one: http://jsrdirect.com/index.asp?Group=BZM (it's at the bottom)

But, my other choice is the one from www.eatdeath.com (go to shirts and down to Burzum) the one from there looks pretty killer, but I'm pretty sure it's unofficial.

Tyler 10-16-2007 09:13 PM
it's unofficial.
eh, who cares. it's not like varg officially endorses any of the shirts anyways, it's all in how the shirts are made and what they look like that matters.

NemesisDivina 10-16-2007 09:15 PM

Yeah good point, I'll probably end up going with the one from eatdeath simply because it looks about 10x cooler than the Misanthropy Records logo one...

I've had the Det Som one for a long time, so whatever.

dUSK 10-16-2007 09:30 PM
it might just be the copy. all i hear is fuzz and some very very low riffs and screams. without the fuzz it would be awesome
For the record, it's not your copy, it's just how that album is.

FatalEnergy 10-16-2007 10:11 PM

Who cares if a band shirt is ugly? It's meant to show a band you like, not be pretty.

If you're so worried about shirts being pretty go get some Van Gogh or something printed on a shirt.

RiceMonster 10-16-2007 10:16 PM

I like band shirts - I wear them. Nothing wrong with metal shirts in general. Some do look like ****, though, of course.

Nostalgia 10-16-2007 10:18 PM
Who cares if a band shirt is ugly? It's meant to show a band you like, not be pretty.
This. Seriously, you're a little homosexual bitch if you won't wear a shirt 'cause it's not pretty.

Tyler 10-16-2007 10:21 PM

It has nothing to do with pretty, it has to do with me not wanting to dress like a trashy kid in ugly shirts with gigantic logos and hideous album covers plastered onto them. Pardon me for caring about my appearance.

All you faggots need to stop getting worked up over Cocaine and his opinion on metal shirts, it's not like what he says actually matters. Stop polluting this thread with your retarded discussions.

Meatplow 10-17-2007 11:30 AM

I don't own any band shirts. I have a green shirt, a blue shirt, an orange shirt and a light green shirt. None have logos on them, not from choice but somehow that's how my wardrobe has ended up :/

Burzum's s/t has really hit me strongly over the past couple of days. Ea, Lord Of The Deeps, A Lost, Forgotten, Sad Spirit & My Journey To The Stars in particular. I really want to check out Filosofem, after seeing the video for Dunkelheit which was eerie and incredible IMO.

rattlehead42147 10-17-2007 12:34 PM

i own the digipack of filosofem but i cant read the long story thing in the liner notes because its all in norwegian

and dunkelheit is a great song but i prefer referring to it with its intended title "burzum" :)

ear lord of the depths has one of the best burzum riffs

Pete 10-17-2007 01:02 PM

Has anybody listened to this Direwolf business? It's the guy from Behold... the Arctopus making really wanky, epic "black" metal. It's pretty interesting in its own right.

RetiredAt21 10-17-2007 02:39 PM

Does anyone like Hell Rot?

You bought Filosofem?

Angmar 10-17-2007 05:29 PM

I'm downloading this Wolven Ancestry album and hoping it doesn't suck despite the ridiculously long song titles.

I have the Dunkelheit video on DVD, came with a Burzum Rarities album I bought. It's really cool.

Apocalypticon 10-17-2007 05:33 PM

Dunkelheit video sucks. Sorry to say, but it is genuinely bad. Although its Burzum so its worth it just for the song.
