Whats the best Interpol, Wildhearts and Public Image Ltd album ?
For The Wildhearts get Earth Vs The Wildhearts.

ThrashMaster27 04-10-2005 07:09 AM

For Public Image Limited pick up Metal Box. It comes in a Metal Box! :p

Yeah, I'd say Earth vs. for The Wildhearts too.

For Interpol..I've only heard Antics, and it's good enough to buy. Turn on the Bright Lights is supposedly as good if not better, though, so either should be fine, I'd think.

Second'd.

And like 'Tender said, either Interpol album is good.

Does anybody know the name of the STP song with these lyrics (not very complete)
Chorus
"I have become..."
Bridge
"Too right, too wrong
Too black, too white
Too rich, too poor"
(I don't think those are in order)
??????????????????????????????????????

I have metal box and its awful.

Nate22 04-10-2005 01:34 PM

I'm looking for some good Shadows Fall songs. Maybe some that are like What Drives the Weak with some regular singing and some screaming.

I've got some really cool psychedelic from the 60's that my uncle sent, but I can't figure out who the artists are :/

I can upload the songs for you if you want them, and you could find out who they were by, I'm sure.

I've heard rumors of Yes starting out as a Psychadelia band, before finally establishing a well-known sound on their third album. Supposedly, their debut album, Yes, was done by a Yes startign out as a psychedlic Beatles-covering band. By The Yes Album, they had finally identified witha sound to call their own, one that stuck witht hem for a number of years. Their early-70's stuff (and there is plenty of it) is high quality Progressive, with more than hints of Space-Rock and Psychadelia thrown in. Also, their Tales From Topographic Oceans album is pretty out there, with 20 minute songs and very high-concept songwriting... I personally find it amazing, but it's one of the biggest love-it-or-hate-it albums of all time.

BeaZ 04-11-2005 08:38 AM

Could someone recomend some Gn'R kind of bands? I'm looking for rockin' bands but not really metal. Thanks!

Isn't that one of Les Claypool's projects?

Bartender 04-12-2005 10:53 PM

Hehe, thought so. Ensures it's a good recommendation for that guy though, I suppose.

Danish 04-13-2005 12:15 AM

Ok, I'm obsessed with metal breakdowns. I love Unearth and Remembering Never. Can anyone recommend some sick breakdowns for me?

Spectrum 04-13-2005 08:42 AM

Alright, I'm huge into Radiohead and have 5/6 of their albums. Ever since I got into Yes and Rush a couple months ago, my taste has widened and wierdened. I believe Radiohead - OK Computer, Rush - 2112, and Yes - The Yes Album and Tales From Topographic Oceans are masterpieces. I was recently told to get Sigur Ros - ( ), so I bought it yesterday. And I absolutely love it. It's amazingly simple and beautiful, and continues to blow my mind.

Where do I go from there?

jop_d 04-13-2005 08:54 AM
Can you recommend me some messugah(sp?)
Well their best song is the first one on the destroy, erase, improve album. But Nothing is really good too.

and on topic: I would recommend Spawn of possession, immolation, morbid angel and nile
