I've just realised.. Alk3 don't play many solos do they? (i don't even think i can recall one they've done) But still can make amazing songs that don't get boring.

I can't think of any solos either. The drums are the main thing that keep me listening to the songs. They never get boring. Derek is amazing.

there is a really short solo in their cover of the metro...thats it and i dont know if i can even consider that a solo

Yeah. They have some amazing breaks, "take lots with alcohol" and "this could be love" both have really effective breaks in them.

I think Time To Waste is very overrated.

And Dethbed has the best Alkaline Trio verse! Especially the end of the first one ("Like a time bomb,...")

Dethbed is probably one of the best songs on Crimson.

Poison's good too.

I think it's cool how it says:

"I could have rooftopped you in london..."

Then later on it says..

"How could a rooftop view in London..."

I agree that Time To Waste is over-rated.

Time to waste is on of the best form the album.

Back to hell and Sadie are the other two main strong points.

Time to Waste is quite good, and i must agree with those two songs being two more strong points - Back to Hell be my favorite :)
