I quite liken the political direction they were leaning with songs like Face In The Sand. Then again, I got into guitar music through pop-punk then punk, so that's understandable.

The last album was kinda about death (I saw an interview with Bruce where he relates every song to death). I think it'd be interesting to do a similar thing with life. Or maybe that's a bit SSOASS.

Or they could take a classic novel and convert it into a book (a little like they did with SSOASS). Something like 1984 or something.

Or even (long shot here): an album about West Ham winning the premier league :D
like that'll ever happen :p

i think i read something somewhere once that it was going to be along the same lines as SSOASS, but meh, just have to wait and see.

Lord Abortion 10-25-2005 05:45 AM

Actually, 1984 would be quite good theme,
maybe that's a bit too left-wing for maiden though

-The Frank 10-25-2005 05:46 AM

No, you're right

for once...

ashman 10-25-2005 05:53 AM

1984 is a bit too political for Maiden. And plus they've already been there in a sense with Prisoner (although that's from something else, but you know what I mean  ).

I think it'd be cool if it was about the 'end of days'...

-The Frank 10-25-2005 05:57 AM

man,......cant fucking wait for the new album......

Very very cool.

Can I call you to hear it?

I just had a really good one: it's bit like OOSP, but whatever. They could do an album based on War Of The Worlds.

When that was originally broadcast as a radio play in the USA, it was done in the style of news bulletins, so everyone there thought aliens really were invading and there were mass riots.

I'm not sure whether, as the producer of that, I'd have been happy or horrified, or both.
